May it please Your Majesty,

According to the provisions of Article XII, Section 9 of the Organic Law governing Your Majesty's realm, I come before the throne now to recommend the appointment of a Túischac'h for the 38th Cosa now assembled to serve the Crown.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend for service as the Speaker of the Cosa one of the most seasoned and experienced Talossans, a man who has served the Kingdom well in the office I am now privileged to hold. Your Majesty, I recommend the appointment of S:reu John McGarry as Túischac'h for the 38th Cosa. S:reu McGarry is well known in the nation as a proud and loyal citizen of Vuode and was recently made a member of the Cosa by royal appointment. That Chamber will be well pleased by the action of Your Majesty to fill its Speakership with such a dedicated Talossan.

We John, King of Talossa and Cézembre and all those other good things, do hereby, at the recommendation of our Prime Minister, appoint our trusty loyal and well-beloved S:reu John McGarry as Túischac'h of the 38th Cosa, and further do congratulate and thank S:reu McGarry for his willingness to undertake this arduous appointment.

I am grateful and honored to be chosen for this illustrious position. It fulfills my dreams of returning to the kingdom and providing whatever service his majesty deems necessary. I will humbly attempt to fulfill my duties and execute the office I have been appointed. The job ahead appears to be difficult, however with the help of fellow Talossans it should be manageable. Another point to be made....argh...gargle....gulp....(my own hands grabbing at my throat....to shut me up....)....
