[The Seneschál once more sneaks to the podium while no one is looking.]
Mr. Absent Speaker, Absent Fellow Members, Empty Gallery,
It is time once more for me to look back at the month that was and tell you what I remember about your government doing while it was. Well, let's see....
Immigration was busy, as usual. You might not think it was as busy as usual, but there was a whole lot of work going on behind the scenes. The Ministry underwent a complete overhaul, organized all its forms and template e-mails (the questionnaires, responses, and so forth), and stuck the whole kit and kaboodle into a brand new online filing system so that future Ministers of Immigration have a smooth sailing ship to helm.
Stuff was also busy, also as usual, doing the usual stuff. Here's just a high-level overview of the stuff I mean. The Talossan MySpace was created and worked into a only slightly hideous version. And, thanks to MinStuff, I am pleased to report that Regipäts television is, surprisingly, on its way.
Defence had an extremely active month, culminating in the ceremony wherein the commissions of the naval and Zouave officers were conferred by the King. I have word that this month's successful military training will be followed up by an August session centering on the military and financial importance of our pirate fleet.
Finance had a rough month, with a change of leadership in the Presidency of the Royal Bank & Post. The issues of coinage and postage, as well as economic and financial policy for the treasury, will continue to be worked, and we hope for some further progress in the coming months.
Justice was made busy offering advice on a number of things, including the Prime Dictate issued this month making OrgLaw Day a national holiday, and another Prime Dictate still kinda under consideration. The Attorney-General also was busy providing advice as to the handling of an unfortunate series of events that we all remember.
Culture began a project seeking contributions of literary-minded Talossans, and continued to monitor for the government the progress of private groups working on our national language.
Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs were fairly-affair free this month. I am happy to report that not a single complaint from the Cestoûrs was made to our Home Ministry this month, justifying for yet another month my sound decision not even to staff the office of Piaçatéir Naziunál. Other than the numerous contacts from various micronations asking for recognition and things like that, which were received and handled by the Prime Ministry, there wasn't much going on.
I think that's everyone. It was a very interesting month, to put it mildly.
In conclusion, I thank my virtual audience once again for not being here in the virtual Cosâ chamber with your virtual rotten fruits and vegetables to virtually mess up my virtual suit. This is virtually working out for me.
I yield the floor.
[The Prime Minister walks away to the sound of crickets chirping.]
