Greetings from the capital of Finland. As your Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary,
if have some questions for the Government;
Should one truly present the President with a diplomatic letter of credence and a letter of introduction?
...or just peacefully build up a website, in Finnish, to explain the history and current events of Talossa?
I am also hereby asking permission to use the Kingdoms various emblems and crests to be used on a website.
On another note; I would appreciate receiving the official letters of appointment as Ambassador to Finland, the letter of introduction, a diplomatic ID card of sorts,
and useful suggestions would be very welcome!
Kind regards,
Tony Weckström

I think it would be interesting were you to present a diplomatic letter of credence and letter of introduction, as long as you make sure to also express that we are not trying to claim international statehood or the corresponding perquisites (we don't need to set up a physical embassy just yet, lol). You would be the first ambassador to go to these lengths, so please be careful you don't get in any trouble. If you just want to make the site and act as liaison with any other Finnish citizens, that is more than reasonable (not that I want to discourage you).
The requests for materials would presumably be best directed at your boss in the Foreign Ministry personally, and I believe your establishment as ambassador to Finland functions as de facto recognition of your permission to use Kingdom seals and flags on the embassy site.

I might be laughed out of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office of Diplomatic Protocol by presenting the letter or credence etc, especially if it's just a print-out, with no real embossed seals and proper quality paper... As for the use of the Kingdom emblems, I believe that as an ambassador, I do have the right to for example fly the Talossan flag in my Embassy, even though it is a website. Then perhaps a framed picture of the King, and a nice map of Talossa would be something worth thinking of... the thing is, I have an office, that has a nice spare room, which might very well be suited for an embassy - but that's kind of up to the missus... Let's see how it goes - gotta build the website first. Ambassador --
The establishment of a Website (permission to use the symbols of the Kingdom is granted) for your Embassy is a great plan to start from. We will also work on getting you some official looking documents for your use -- as you know, I have asked the Foreign Minister to look into this, and I hope we both will hear from her soon.
