Climbing from a branch to the window, the Senator for Mussolini drops to the floor of the chamber, bare feet hardly making a sound. She is dressed in shorts and a t-shirt and her hair is slightly unkempt, while a machete and knife hang from her belt. Looking around at the finely-dressed senators, she shrugs. Having returned shortly ago from a "Swallows and Amazons" type adventure, she is finding the transition back to civilization rather difficult, but despite this still manages to be the first to vote on this month's Clark.
37RZ7 - The Cruel Joke at Pengöpäts' Expense: CONTRÂ
37RZ8 - The Clipper Act: PËR
37RZ9 - Seat Security for Legislators Named Temporary Regents: PËR
37RZ10 - The Finish the Finnish Act: PËR
37RZ11 - "The Standing on His Own Legs" Amendment: PËR
Drawing the machete, she salutes her fellow senators. Then she sheathes it and leaps to the windowsill. After glancing over her shoulder at the Senäts chamber, she swings out into the tree, vanishing through the leaves.

Since a citizen in my province has specifically requested this, I must go against my better judgement on the poorly-written 37R27, but otherwise my votes will come as no surprise.
37RZ7: PËR
37RZ8: PËR
37RZ9: PËR
37RZ10: PËR
37RZ11: PËR

The Senator from Maricopa stands and clears his throat.
I would just like to add "ahem." Thank you.
But while I'm here...
I vote CONTRA on 37RZ7. It has come to my attention that the wiley Pengos are planning something, and I would suggest to Talossa that they do reconaissance. I hear they've just sent America a video of their exploits, in which they have graphic scenes of chicken torture--that beloved country-poultry. "Surf's Up" I think is the code name it goes by. It must be serious, because the government saw fit to distribute it to cinemas across the nation. Le shock!
But on 37RZ8-11 I vote PER. A load of sound judgment.
Random question: how long is a Senator's term? I expect I could look it up, but since I'm here...
He sits down again.

The Senator from Vuode stands, and nods towards the still-possibly vacant dais. The Senator is dressed formally, wearing white tie, tails and black Birkenstock sandals. The Senator shoots his cuffs, exposing a pair of large golden cuff links. He takes his drink firmly in his left hand, flips open his PDA with his right, and begins to read aloud.
Lord von Metáiriâ, Your Highness Prince Patrick, and fellow Senators -
I shall be brief. For this election, the people of Vuode wish me to vote as follows:
37RZ7 - The Cruel Joke at Pengöpäts' Expense: CONTRÂ
37RZ8 - The Clipper Act: PËR
37RZ9 - Seat Security for Legislators Named Temporary Regents: PËR
37RZ10 - The Finish the Finnish Act: PËR
37RZ11 - "The Standing on His Own Legs" Amendment: PËR
Thank you.
I yield.
Indeed, he does yield.

The freshman Senator from Maritiimi-Maxhestic shakes off his many admirers and rises to answer the Senator from Maricopa.
Senator, the length of a Senator's term varies from two to three years, depending on the election cycle. See, our terms are dependent on the Cosa dissolutions, but vary from being three sessions and four sessions.
The Maritiimi-Maxhestian bows, then goes down under the weight of his hangers-on.

It bothers me to be soo boring about casting my votes, especially at such a late date, but hte sun is shining and there are very Senatorial type things to do outside today.
PER across the board.
We musn't base any of our decisions on the actions of a few disgruntled penguins (unless they be very large ones).
