Mr. Secretary of State:
Since I'm a little unclear about the timing on this, I'd like to let you know that I will be "Clarking" two of my proposals--the Hereditary Monarchy Modification Amendment and the Hold Temporary Regents Harmless Amendment--for the June Clark. Both proposals will be changed a little from their current forms.
Please let me know by which date you'll need the final form of the bills.
Thank you.

Count Lauriéir:
As long as you have a final draft on my desk by midnight TST 31 May, there shouldn't be a problem.

M'lord, I am curious of your reasons for deciding to "Clark" your Hereditary Monarchy Modification Amendment. My understanding was that you believed an agreement could be reached. Have you changed your mind upon this point? Perhaps something has happened of which I am unaware.
To speak quite honestly I do not see how this amendment could pass either the Cosâ or the Senäts. (This is not meant as anything that could be said to approach a threat by even as much as the distance from the sun to that demoted sphere formerly known as the planet pluto.)
I hope you do not mind explaining.
Regards,
Nic
