The doors to the Senate Chamber open with a booming thud as a handsome young man wearing Packers cheesehead gear and a t-shirt with an outline of the province of Florencia bearing the words "Kiss Me, I'm the Guv" strides down the aisle toward the Mencei.
The Mencei (equally as handsome), wearing headgear resembling the Jayhawk mascot of the University of Kansas and a shirt bearing the words "ROCK CHALK," eyes the Governor of Florencia as said Guv hands over a note scrawled on a bar napkin.
The Mencei's gaze does not waver as the Governor turns around and leaves the chamber whistling the CBS basketball theme. As the Master-at-Arms closes the chamber doors, the Mencei glances at the note and clears his throat.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Patrick Woolley will fill the vacated seat from Florencia. Congratulations and welcome, Senator Woolley!
