SCENE: A library, within the stacks, a lightbeam piercing the darkness from the pane of a window, upon a shelf of books, with dust swirling within the beam as the sound of footsteps approach.
ACTION: a hand appears, and grasps an old, leather bound tome, title unintelligible. More dust cascades off the book as it creaks open to reveal a page with a single elaborately caligraphic word displayed on the turned page

*Stands with a phone-book thick sheaf of papers in left hand. This prompts a stampede as other Members quickly depart.
Notices the rapid disappearance of all other members of the Cosâ.
Stands, looking at the only remaining human in the chamber, Samuhél Tecladéir, the Túischac'h, who glares down at the MC from Vuode from the Speaker's Dias.
Clears throat.

Mr. Speaker! My fellow MCs!
I rise to say UC, which, in Talossan, is an ugly sound. But the meaning in this case--a vote of confidence in the current government and its Prime Minister--should be heard in the inner ear of the soul as a radiant, euphonious, sibilant song of affirmation and positiveness. I vote Yes Oui, Si, Ja, Da!

Which I intend to be my last vote as a member of this body. In the interest of furthering separation of powers in Talossa and providing more opportunities for service for other citizens, I do not plan to seek any seats in the next Cosâ. It's been an honor and a privilege to serve with you all.
