As the leader of the political party with whom the most recent holders of the vacated Senate seats for both Cézembre and Vuode are associated, it falls to me by law to appoint successors to stick their rumps into the vacant seats. And so, I will get right to it.
I hereby appoint S:reu Trotxâ Bettinger to sit his rump in the Senate seat for his home province of Vuode.
I hereby appoint Barôn Tepistà (myself) to sit my rump in the Senate seat for the island paradise of Cézembre.
So it is written, and so it shall be. I congratulate the two Senators on their new appointments, and I thank myself for the congratulatory well-wishes.

Point of order, my lord. The authority for appointing senators to fill vacancies is, of course, the monarch. Although I'm quite certain our Regent would be more than happy to confirm your nominations, considering that he has no choice in the matter.

Justice Siervicül, is, as usual, quite correct. The Monarch (or his Regent) is indeed responsible for the appointments, as requested by the party leader. And I do so humbly request this from the Regent, with deep gratitude.
