Query re: Proposed Treaty with the Republic

I rise to ask the Prime Minister or the Foreign Minister to give the Ziu an update on the status of the proposed treaty with the Republic. There has been a long silence on this matter.

Shall we be seeing new language for the treaty soon?

Are negotiations ongoing?

Can the government share with us a timetable for future action?

What are the government's intentions on this matter?

An updated copy has been given to the Prime Minister. He is going over it as we speak. He and I have yet to get a chance to talk about it.
