RZ 23 - PER RZ 24 - PER RZ 25 - CONTRA (see comments below) RZ 26 - PER RZ 27 - PER RZ 28 - PER (hmm...seems Ben was always refering to people as "Opposition Leader so-and-so" in the past... but yes, the points in this bill are well taken).
I'm voting Contra on RZ 25 because 1) we do not actually have physical money and, having none that exists, why bother with all this? Until money is going to be minted, printed, exchanged, whatever, having a money exist legally which does not exist in fact is superfluous and I might add a tad ridiculous. 2) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should ANYTHING be named after the treacherous and treasonous former monarch.

My Lord President Castiglhâ, Fellow Senators, Distinguished Guests and Members of the Gallery: If it please the chair and chamber, after due consideration I now rise to submit and register, on behalf of the proud peoples of Vuode, the votes of their Senator on the proposals now pending before our body, viz.: - 35RZ 23 - Për. Although I am not a particular fan of the way in which immigrants are assigned to provincial citizenship, it is abundantly apparent to me that the system as it stands would be improved by the passage of this act.
- 35RZ 24 - Për. As author and sponsor of this act, I give it my assent only while offering my deep thanks to my fellow citizens for their assistance in determining its final form while it was in the Hopper.
- 35RZ 25 - Për. I stand in favor of enabling the Royal Bank & Post to determine a basis for, and to issue, national currency. Further, I favor the creation of a second coin of the realm, that proper and useful demoninations may be created and issued. I look forward to the day when pints of beer will be purchased during TalossaFest with Talossan currency. If this act fails of passage, I yet urge my fellow legislators to join together and revise it, creating an acceptable alternative, and to pass the same at our very earliest opportunity. I want to carry Brocks and Ferrignos and Rawls in my pocket.
- 35RZ 26 - Për. Better testimony to the wisdom of this act cannot be found than in the fact that we who are charged with advising His Majesty on the laws to be enacted for the proper rule of his realm have already begun behaving as if this law were in effect, cognizant that the proposals we author are rarely perfect in their first draft, and are always improved by wise and deliberate determination and debate leading to alteration provoked by the comments and suggestions of our fellow citizens. With my fellow legislators, I am happy to submit myself and my successors in this seat to be bound legally to continue this practice.
- 35RZ 27 - Për. This is the only bill which gave me pause. As I discussed with the author of the bill, the plain fact that every church, by its very definition, has an orthodoxy which it follows, the oxymoronic name "The Unorthodox Church" tickles my fancy. Additionally, the pull of tradition and history was strong, and it mitigated against my consent to this bill. I was convinced, however, that since no such church actually exists (as far as I know), and knowing full well that the current Soveriegn is not in any way leading such a church, and knowing that the name of the church is offensive to some citizens, who view it as equivalent to "The Anti-Catholic Church" or "The Anti-Christian Church" or even "The Anti-Deist Church," I have decided to grant my assent to this bill.
- 35RZ 28 - Për. As author of this act, It is my belief that it will, if passed by the necessary referendum, serve to clean up the offices of the government and the royal house.
Barôn Tepistà, Senator for Vuode

Might I interrupt with a comment, about Sir Metáiriâ's comment on the "treacherous and treasonous former monarch"-- I was just thinking, since the monarch is the anthromorphic representation of the State, how could he be treacherous and treasonous? Also, if the monarch really is the State personified, would not being hostile to him constitute treachery and treason on the dissenter's part?

Ladies, gentlemen, my Lord President —
Herewith my votes on the January Clark, with a few thoughts.
35RZ23. Për. 35RZ24. Për, with a slight reservation. I hate to vote for a law, knowing that we'll need to come back and amend it; on the other hand, it will take the diligent moles at the Chancery and Scribery at least a couple of months, more likely six or eight months, to get all the laws in order and make sure we know what we're doing. It strikes me that in this case, this Bill provides some structure and sanity in a mess of contradictory and incomplete legislation. It's an imperfect solution, but I think this Bill will help us get a handle on a confusing situation. 35RZ25. Austanéu. I've been trying to figure out what to do on this measure, and I can't. On the one hand, I think it would be good for us to be able to print and mint money in various denominations; on the other, I don't think we're all settled as to what those denominations will be, and what they'll be called. So I abstain, in the hope that if the Bill doesn't pass this Clark, it will be resubmitted soon in a more consensus-commanding form. 35RZ26. Për. We need the Hopper; we've needed it for years. Kudos to Dan Lorentz for writing this! 35RZ27. Për. I wrote this one, and the "Whereas" clauses pretty much sum up my arguments. 35RZ28. Për. Good clean-up of the constitution.
Thank you.
— John Woolley, UrN, Senator for Florenciâ
