Remember, It's still a work in progress.
It's YOUR Arms, and needs to be a reflection of YOU.
The College can help and assist in creating your ideas into an actual visual work.
But bottom line, you tell US what you want, we we try and make it happen.

Tony --
The college is reviewing your latest draft. There is a violation of the tincture rule with the addition of the sable (black) that was made on top of the azure (blue) cross in your draft, and so some adjustment would need to be made. What you had as black would need to be made white or gold to achieve a legal blazon. The College is also considering the legality of the Greek cross added in dexter chief. The question of whether two identical charges (blue crosses) of two different sizes is or is not legal is currently being debated.

If possible, I would hereby authorize the College to make the necessary adjustments to the proposed Crest - and then please let me know as soon as possible when it is done... The main cross is black on blue, the smaller is blue. The black on blue is the biggest problem. What would you think about just making one of the crosses all black and the other all blue?
I personally don't think there's a big problem with the different sizes of crosses. It's true that using different sizes of the same charge is frowned upon. But that's mostly due to the potential for confusion about which is the primary charge and what the grouping of the charges is supposed to be (because charges in the same group may sometimes be drawn in slightly different sizes for stylistic reasons). If the central cross were also a Greek cross, there might be a potential for confusion. But since it's the ordinary (in the heraldic sense) form, the central cross is pretty obviously primary and the little one is obviously secondary. It's like the "Jerusalem cross," which has a cross potent surrounded by four smaller Greek crosses.

Given the extent of the progress that this project has made, it seems most likely that the petition for arms for S:reu Weckström will be able to be made by the College soon enough that His Majesty might see fit to grant the achievement of arms on the next scheduled day of Honours, which is 12 October, the Sovereign's Birthday.

Tony- Let's cut to the chase, and get this solved Th main cross- either all blue or all black. That seems to be the only hitch at this moment.

OK. So if I have my girlfriend edit it again, making the main cross all blue, then should I assume I can post the crest on my message threads etc... ?? Tony- Let's cut to the chase, and get this solved Th main cross- either all blue or all black. That seems to be the only hitch at this moment.

OK. So if I have my girlfriend edit it again, making the main cross all blue, then should I assume I can post the crest on my message threads etc... ?? That should make it acceptable, but unfortunately you can't use the arms until they are actually granted by the King. And the next date for that is 12 October. The College likes to keep things all formal and fancy.

Ok. It is now edited, and sent to Mick Preston. Hopefully it is acceptable now, as the main cross is now all blue... Thanks for the input... OK.
