We, John, by the Grace of God, King of Talossa and of all its Realms and Regions, King of Cézembre, Sovereign Lord and Protector of Pengöpäts and the New Falklands, Defender of the Faith, Leader of the Armed Forces, Viceroy of Hoxha and Vicar of Atatürk, Knight of the Order of the Nation, to Our Kingdom, all Dukes, Counts, Barons, Justices, Knights, Citizens and Cestoûrs, and free men, as all Our officers, servants, and subjects whomsoever to whom these presents shall come, Greeting.
Whereas it appears by an instrument delivered to Us under the hand and seal of the Squirrel King at Arms bearing date the eighteenth day of April instant, that the Squirrel King, being satisfied with the abilities of Mark "Mickster" Preston, and being pleased with Preston's desire to improve his skill and knowledge in the art and science of Heraldry, for his encouragement therein the Squirrel King had nominated Preston to become a Fellow of our College of Arms. To this end, the Squirrel King requests of Us that Preston may obtain Our Warrant to be invested with all the rights and privileges of the office of Fellow of the College.
Therefore, We, approving the character of Preston, are graciously pleased to condescend thereto. And it is Our will and pleasure and We do hereby authorise and require the Squirrel King in our name to invest Preston to the end that he may be thereby qualified to have exercise and enjoy all rights and privileges whatsoever belonging to such Fellows of the College of Arms in as ample and beneficial manner as any other hath heretofore held exercised and enjoyed or of right ought to have held exercised and enjoyed the same. Preston shall serve at the pleasure of the Squirrel King at Arms.
And whereas it appears by an instrument delivered to Us under the hand and seal of the Squirrel King at Arms bearing date the eighteenth day of April instant, that the Squirrel King, being curious about the abilities of Richard Deulofeut, and being pleased with Deulofeut’s initiative to improve his knowledge of the art and science of Heraldry, for his promotion and encouragement therein the Squirrel King had nominated Deulofeut to become an Intern of our College of Arms. To this end, the Squirrel King requests of Us that Deulofeut may obtain Our Temporary Warrant to be invested with all the duties and responsibilities of the office of Intern of the College.
Therefore, We, approving the enterprise of Deulofeut, are pleased to condescend thereto. And it is Our will and We do hereby authorise and require the Squirrel King in our name to install Deulofeut, to the end that he may provisionally exercise all duties and responsibilities belonging to Interns of the College of Arms, until Michaelmas next, the twenty-ninth day of September of this year. Deulofeut shall serve at the pleasure of the Squirrel King at Arms.
Given at Centennial in Colorado, on the Feast of Saint Perfecto, Priest and Martyr, who in anno Domini 850 in Cordoba, Spain was beheaded by the Caliph of the Moors for blasphemy against the Prophet Muhammad, this being the eighteenth day of April of the year of salvation 2007, in the twenty-eighth year of the independence of the Kingdom of Talossa, and of our reign the first.
