WHEREAS it is a Talossan tradition that the King freely gives honours to a short list of worthy citizens on Independence Day; and
WHEREAS the Kingdom of Talossa is currently without a King; and
WHEREAS honours flow from the King; and
WHEREAS it is highly unlikely that we will have a King by Independence Day.
THEREFORE in Our capacity as Squirrel King and Dean of the College, We hereby announce that the College of Arms is on recess until the selection of a new King; and
THEREFORE no honours will be awarded on this Independence Day.
Given in Vuode under Our hand and in great sadness, on the Feast of Saint Valerian, Bishop and Martyr of North Africa, which is the Fifteenth Day of December, in the Year of Our Lord the Two Thousand and Six, and in the twenty-seventh year of the Kingdom of Talossa.
