Azul, My name is Nick Eijkemans (Niclau de Cjár). If it so please the Squirrel Queen of Arms, I request the assistance of the College in designing and obtaining arms for myself and my lawful heirs. My favourite colour is blue. I've become a citizen of Talossa (Cézembre) on the 20th of July 2006. I'm a member of CLP. Until now I haven't done anything interesting for Talossa, but this will certainly come. For my arms I was thinking of the following: Per bend sinister azure and vert, 2 bendlet sinister of the first. If it's possible, I like something typical Dutch in it (and I don't mean wooden shoes or tulips ). Maybe something from the Dutch Royal Arms, like a lion? I'll add the link where the arms can be found: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b1/Nl-arms.gifIf all this is not possible, I like some sort of oaktree in it. Regards, Nick.

Something typically Dutch, but not wooden shoes or a tulip? It has to be ... a windmill! ;D
I don't understand about the bendlets. You couldn't have blue bendlets either on a blue field or on a green.
The field from the royal arms, azure billety or, is attractive and distinctive. And you might think of oak leaves as charges.
But don't mind me. The Dean of the College will assign a herald to work with you. I'm just thinking out loud, as it were.

The Dean of the College will assign a herald to work with you. S:reu de Cjár - Your request has been received. The Dean shall poll the college for a herald to complete your request. I'm just thinking out loud, as it were. Indeed. Thank you, Sir John, for your always appreciated brainstorming. Some good ideas! The field from the royal arms, azure billety or, is attractive and distinctive. And you might think of oak leaves as charges. We have had a bit of a run on the ol' oak tree eradicated charge recently. Perhaps the oak leaves would give a different, non-conflicting view. Something typically Dutch, but not wooden shoes or a tulip? It has to be ... a windmill! When you say windmill, I'm pretty sure Lord Q thinks about this: S:reu de Cjár, I believe, thinks about something like this: Hmm..... I wonder. Could a field semy of windmills be milly? -- Jaune Sabre Herald, Dean

Hmm..... I wonder. Could a field semy of windmills be milly? I think so! And if you intersperse the mills with vanilla flowers, it's milly-vanilly.

I think so! And if you intersperse the mills with vanilla flowers, it's milly-vanilly. That was just AWFUL! Awful funny that is, especially after watching the MTV videos.
