I present the following to the Benitian Legislative Chancellory for discussion. Too long have we neglected those poor members of the Benitian diaspora which were cruelly severed from the Sovereign Province during the last major catchment reform.
--- B E G I N T E X T ---
WHEREAS Benito has a thriving community of Talossans residing in the US state of Ohio and,
WHEREAS during the previous Catchment Reform, Ohio was reassigned to Vuode and,
WHEREAS this deprives a thriving community of growth and conviviality;
THEREFOR the government of the Sovereign Province of Benito accepts the following into law:
Any Talossan Citizen residing permanently in the US State of Ohio may exercise the rights of citizenship within the Province of Benito upon completing an oath that they will refrain from such activities in any other province. The oath in question will be filed with the office of the Maestro. Violation of the oath (by, for example, voting in a Vuodean provincial election) will cancel the extension of these rights.
