Did your CoA just disappear? That may be because it was hosted on kingdomoftalossa.net (from here on "kot.net"), which is now offline. If your CoA disappeared, you provided a link to your CoA from kot.net, instead of uploading it from your PC. That's perfectly fine, by the way. You can do neat stuff with a link (such as a random CoA!), but that's not the purpose of this post.
Is it lost? How do I get it back? Your CoA is not lost! All of kot.net was archived in late September, as detailed in this thread. This includes the folder where all CoAs (and then some) were stored; as detailed in the thread I linked, the folder was reuploaded to talossa.com in its entirety and made searchable via a custom PHP page.
HOW DO I GET IT BACK!? Fret not: go to
and look (CTRL+F your surname will help) for your CoA. The folder was uploaded as-is, so there might be multiple versions of your CoA; make sure to look for the highest quality version.
Tip: CoAs in the surnameArms.gif/surnameArms.png format seem to be the highest quality versions, though your mileage may vary if you have uploaded your CoA yourself, or if you were made a Knight and have other versions of your arms. Be sure to use those instead of the t-surname.gif files, which are substantially smaller.
