For what it's worth, I have some concerns about possible misuse of the new system under 53RZ21, but nothing that would make me consider a veto if people want to try this. It seems reasonable to me that *everyone* be able to communicate with prospective citizens, and Witt would seem to be the best way to permit that; I wouldn't want citizens on the list that nobody except one guy has had a chance to interact with.

And there are a couple of minor details in 53RZ22 that will have to be worked out, but again, I've noticed nothing vetoable.

Note that under this bill, immigrants are still required to post on Witt. The bill simply adds a new requirement that they also talk to someone off of Witt.

Sorry to say, but the proposed law would place the prospective citizens subject to the whims and fancies of us, the existing Talossans.

I remember that in my case I had to nudge quite a few times before my Citizenship Petition was ready.

Proposed law serves no purpose. Could we prevent a former Maricopan Knight like situation? Sock puppets maybe.

If Talossa is in such dire state that not a single person could handle the very slight burden imposed here, we’d have much bigger issues that immigration policy.
