Opening of Senate Business for the 53rd Cosa

Esteemed colleagues, I am pleased to hereby open a new term of the Senate. Congratulations to the Senator for Atatürk, who was reelected to this house, and to the newly elected Senators for Cézembre, Florencia and Vuode.

The order paper for this month can be found here. The first order of business of the new Senate is the election of a Mençei. I direct your attention to the appropriate thread.

I'd like to welcome Thor Deyaert to our Chamber. I hope this marks the beginning of a long period of public service to the nation.

We desperately need new and enthusiastic individuals to come to Talossa, and remain. Given the number of other involvements that compete with limited time, it takes some dedication to stay involved here.

I hope we'll still be working together in some capcity 5 years from now.

Thank you Sevastáin Pinátsch and the rest for your warm welcome. As a relative new Talossan and certainly a new politician, I will be looking to learn as much as I can from you more experienced Senators. I will do whatever is in my power to make this three fruitfull and enjoyable terms, and hopefully more to come.
