To all concerned, included are the proposed election rules that were submitted to the Electoral Commission. They have not yet been certified and may very well be subject to change before then. An official rules/registration thread will be created after the rules have been certified. Proposed rules 53rd Cosa elections.docx (20.83 KB) Glüc da Dhi, Secretary of State

If theirs is an election can I ask you to manage it with my collaboration of course.

The provinces that will elect a Senator are: - Atatürk (3 Cosas)
- Cézembre (3 Cosas)
- Vuode (2 Cosas)
to full terms (duration in brackets), and
for the remainder of Hooligan's term (1 Cosa).

Lüc is correct. As it stands there will be Senate elections in four provinces, including Florencia.

Azul,
So your office accept to run the Florencia byelection?
Can I force provincial party to make an official registration for the Nimlet? So only registred party can get seat? And can I force the senat candidat to have their name on the ballot in order to wins the seat?

Azul, So your office accept to run the Florencia byelection? Yes, if you so request. Short answer: I don't know. Long answer: As it stands (but this could still change) the chancery will just provide a simple option for provincial elections where people can fill in what they like. It is then up to the province to interpret those results and decide who gets seats or not. Presumably restricting the assignment of seats to registered parties requires some kind of provincial law, but really that is up to the province. But I can't provide a definite answer for what the chancery will do until the rules have been certified, so I will get back to you on that when I know the answer at least to that part of the question. No, not if the election is conducted by the chancery. If the election is conducted by the chancery write-in Senate candidates will be allowed.
