Message from the Cunstaval of La Provincù Florencia

Dear Citizens of La Provincù Florencia,

I speak to you now regarding the untenable situation this great province finds itself in, with regards to the office of Governor and Senator.

This issue was raised by a noble citizen of this fair province in the Ziu, but given I am a member of neither house, I would like to respond to you here.

I, as Cunstaval of La Provincù Florencia have made numerous efforts on a number of occasions to try and solve this impasse. All my efforts have failed to find a suitable persons who can lawfully fill these offices.

I asked for all citizens of La Provincù Florencia and now ask again, regardless of your political positions, to either volunteer themselves or to recommend someone who can fill these offices. To date I have been greeted by deafening silence from all quarters of this province.

Posts complaining about this crisis, won't solve this crisis. Only you, the citizens of Florencia can by taking action and putting yourself forward to serve. Therefore, I implore you all once again, to act in the best interest of your province and your home in Talossa. Step forward, serve your province and let's ensure that this situation never occurs again.

Failing anyone responding to this final request to step forward for appointment, I will be left with little choice but to declare La Provincù Florencia a "failed province", incapable of forming a government, in nominating a Senator or able to manage it's own affairs in accordance with its own Constitution.

I ask that the Avocat-Xheneral and the Prime Minister, Ian Plätschisch to advise my office, of any and all lawful actions that may be taken by my office as Cunstaval of La Provincù Florencia to rectify this situation when all avenues provided for by law have been exhausted. Should no avenue exist, I will ask that legislation be passed through the Ziu to allow this crisis to be resolved.

Therefore, I will allow seven days (7) from the posting of this message (can I ask the SoS Glüc da Dhi to email this message to all citizens of La Provincù Florencia as I don't have access to the emails of citizens of Florencia), to allow for citizens willing to serve either as Governor or Senator to step forward to make themselves know to me, by either replying to this post or by PM on Witt, before I make a official declaration of La Provincù Florencia as a "failed province", act on legal advice from the A-X and ask the Central Government and Ziu to step in to solve the current impasse.

I read the Florencian Constitution and it seems you could appoint any active Florencian who meets the Organic requirements. Am I missing something?

I'd say what we're missing is that cxhn. Carbonél would doubtless love to be appointed, or is it only I who is getting that impression?

I would be willing to serve once again as senator of Florencia. Not sure if that is what is really desired but am here.
