Fellow Senators, I would like to notify the Senate that a bill, the Sextieir Assignment Act of 2019, has passed the Assembly on March 9th, having been introduced there on January 29th. It now falls upon the Senate to either pass the bill as it stands, send an amended version back to the Assembly, or reject it outright.
The time allotted for debate and the presentation of amendments is now open. The vote is scheduled for Thursday 14th, or later if amendments are accepted by the main sponsor.
