What's the current situation with exchanging letter in Talossa? Does anyone engage in snail mailing? Upon recent discussions about virtuality of Talossa, I thought it'd be great if Talossans would form friendships and dialogues both online and offline.
If there's any interest in this topic, there could be a non-governmental community of people who engage in letter-writing.

Haven't written any letters to Talossans before, but I'm in. Good excuse to buy Talossan stamps too.

Well, wow. I didn't realize there was so widespread demand for this!
I think snail mailing shouldn't be organized, or god forbid governmentally organized. I suggest that whoever wants to write a letter to whomever just shares his postal address personally! I don't think a postal address database would be a good thing, though this would make surprise letter writing possible. Any thoughts?

You have clearly never seen my handwriting - as the joke goes, I don't use encryption - I use another font. But I would be delighted to exchange written (or, in my case, typed) conversations with other Talossans.
My address (which is public knowledge) is:
11A, GU24 8QP England
... and, yes, that really, really is my address!!

If anybody wants to write me, just PM your address to me and I'll give you mine.
I'm looking forward to this!

I have neglected to tell you, though, that some of my jobs were with very secure computer systems - but I cannot divulge much more without falling foul of The Official Secrets act (sigh)
