Azul! Since my return, I've been contacting fellow citizens to try to get involved in certain groups upon my granting of citizenship. Well, as you can see from the title of this thread, I'd like to inquiry about CÚG membership. Are there certain requirements for membership within the CÚG? I assume that one needs to have basic knowledge of the Talossan language, but are there any fluency requirements?
Thanks!

Actualmint, éu volt ocsà sâparh acest. "Actually, you may come..." ? Non, acest-là incestoura à "I want to know this, too." "Come" in Talossan isch "irh," el mismeu come "go". (I think I got that right)

The language has always interested me (it's actually what brought me here a few years back). I'd love to be apart of the CÚG and help with it's development

There is no proficiency requirement for membership in the CÚG. You just have to be nominated for membership by a current member, and if you accept the nomination you're a "candidate member" of the CÚG. After at least 6 months as a candidate member, you can request a vote on full membership.

Sounds good! Once I become a citizen, who should I speak to about a nomination? Any current member, basically. You just need to persuade someone that you'll be a productive member of la Comità. In the past, others have posted a thread in the glhetg forum asking for someone to nominate them, after establishing their "bona fides" by participating in discussions on the language, trying their hand at translating things, etc.

By the way, I just got my copy of the "Ün Guizua Compläts àl Glheþ Talossan" in the mail. It's a great reference!
