Azul S:reu Scherpa-Carriedo, without wanting to step on any toes, I am curious as to what steps you intend to take to increase activity, and why this merger of legislation cannot be a permanent solution for you? Maybe we can find common ground! I, for one, would see this merger as a long-term plan. Azul, Senator da Lhiun. I'm afraid I don't have a concrete answer for your question as of yet, although I intend to work on them in this Cosa; like an act to redistribute the provincial assignments for all forthcoming immigrants (and for any citaxhien who would be interested.) Maybe I can get your support in the Senats (together with Senator Grischun) for any act (or bill, or measure, or whatever) I will be sponsoring regarding this issue. I thank you for giving the Estats-Xhenerais a temporary home while struggles to rebuild itself, and I appreciate your support for the agreement between our provinces. However, as Vuodean-Dandeburger, I wish not to overstay our welcome, and I long for the day when my province will be able to stand on its own again. If tackling provincial catchment areas is your line of energy, you should have a conversation with Gluc da Dhi and Luc da Schir. Those guys have been on that train for a while now. I wholeheartedly agree, and have said for many years, that when it comes to catchment areas, Vuode does not get a fair shake of the stick.

...We need to come up with something in the Ziu - acts, bills, measures, whatever - to make sure that we will be able to finally put an end to the rampant inactivity that is now - sadly - so definitive of our province (and we need to do it, ASAP.) We can both sponsor a plan to entice other people in the Kingdom to "emigrate" to our province (yes, a plan to redistribute provincial assignments to all new immigrants, or to any current citaxhien who would be interested); or a "Vuode-Dandeburg Cultural Heritage Month" (as the current MinCult, that's to your advantage), or somewhere along those lines. The agreement is not absolutely permanent, but it is not a long-term solution. I'd like for us to be able to opt-out from it at an earlier time (I will concede, one Cosa term isn't enough), and we owe it to ourselves to make sure that Vuode-Dandeburg will be able to stand on it own again and become an active exponent of all things Talossan once more. ...I'm very glad to read here that you are flexible during these negotiations. It's quite important for all of us not to get stuck in the mud on single points at the risk of not making overall progress... ...Your ideas to increase activity in the province are brilliant, and I love your enthusiasm and interest. It's been many years since Vuode saw someone of your caliber enter the arena. Needless to say, I pray you will be a member of the new joint assembly. I'm sure you would be a massive help in making both Vuode and M-M the best two provinces in the Kingdom... My bad. I guess the term "advantage" wasn't appropriate, the phrase I wanted was " as the current MinCult, that's something that you won't have any problems implementing." And because you're the MinCult, I'm sure we won't have any problems obtaining the necessary support from the rest of the Kingdom. I'm not sure I can take an active role in the new joint assembly, but I'll definitely make my presence felt from time to time. I wouldn't want any of the provinces to be at a disadvantage (although the interests of Vuode-Dandeburg is uppermost in my mind.) " It's quite important for all of us not to get stuck in the mud on single points at the risk of not making overall progress." It's words like that that make you, in my opinion, one of the best people to work with in this Kingdom. I feel fortunate to live in the same province as you do.

... I'm not sure I can take an active role in the new joint assembly. But, why? No!

... I'm not sure I can take an active role in the new joint assembly. But, why? No! I already have a lot on my hands, Eðo (MC for our province, Deputy Foreign Minister). I may not be able to do my job in the new joint assembly well, and it would not be in the best interests of our province if I slack on the job (although really, there's only three of us; four, if you count the Cunstaval - azul, Çesli!) But again, I'll make my presence in the new assembly felt from time to time.

I would hope that you at least become a member with voting rights in the assembly. If it ended up too much for you then you could resign a position and nobody would judge such an action negatively. I would just hate for us to get a working and active assembly, leading to our provinces shining and flourishing, but for you do not be part of that. Especially, since you have played such a key role in the process so far.
Like I already said, Vuode has waited years for someone to join the league of extraordinary citizens, and now that you have finally arrived, I really, really want you to play the part in the fullest!!!
(In case your not aware, by the way, Cesli is not a citizen of Vuode. Most Cunstavals are not citizens of the province they have power over. Something that I utterly dislike).

Oh dear, so the Cunstaval isn't from Vuode. That's not good.
"Vuode has waited years for someone to join the league of extraordinary citizens... I really, really want you to play the part in the fullest!!!" Well OK. I will be part of the new joint assembly (but I may just be a regular member.) With words like that, how can I say 'no'?
