I hadn't had chance to put it to you the cezambre, as it's quite a biggy I thought I would best to get some opinions before finalising

I strongly support it because the King should not be able to veto an amendment that's been approved by both houses of the Ziu AND the people in a referendum.

I just thought as it is a big deal kind of amendment that it would want to be discussed first

Pardon the intrusion, but as someone who might technically belong in Cezembre (since I live in the grim north of England), and further: someone with an unhealthy interest in political theory, I was rather under the impression that Talossa is a representative democracy where our Senators are elected to have political opinions on behalf of their constituents rather than the other way around?

No harm in asking their opinions, though, like M-M's last two Senators.
In future, I'd recommend asking sooner than the day before the vote deadline.
Oh, and are Senators allowed to vote independently of the official coalition platform?

If you hold a Ministerial portfolio, it's probably not wise.
