My Fellow Talossans,
The point in transferring data from the (mostly static) KoT website to the talossa.com content management system was to enable simple updates from those entrusted with editing privileges. Currently, those individuals are:
No-one, including myself, has updated any content since April. Therefore, I'm respectfully asking a response to the following:
In creating this new system, I'd hoped to receive much more volunteer relief than I have. This is not a new development, but a problem that existed from the beginning, despite my repeated requests for help (read my monthly reports from last year).
At present, I am unable to do much more than ensure that the website operates properly and securely (intrusion attempts have increased recently). In other words, I need your support more than ever. I cannot, and never could, do this alone.
Despite your feelings about me, or this government, I would hope that everyone understands the necessity of collaborative effort in maintaining the public face of the nation.
However, if I am over-reaching in my hope and expectation, or am simply demonstrating that I am ill-suited to the responsibility of this Ministry, you may request my resignation. I accepted this role because I was offered it, but I have no expectation that it is mine to keep if I don't have the support and trust of the people.
