I will see what I can do to help move this along as soon as the Holiday weekend is over.

I'm sure every one is busy, plugging away and I thank Sreu: Siervicül for his help. However, its taking far longer than I had ever expected. That's not an unusual reaction. Probably we should warn people that the process could take as long as several months. In the past we had a lot more resources to work with. At the moment, we are basically down to two active members: me and Txec. Your request was negatively impacted, unfortunately, by Iustì's mysterious disappearance two months into the process. Plus the fact that you have requested an incredibly complex charge never before seen in the history of heraldry But I've been working on it, and here's my best attempt so far at a quinotaur queue quatrefoil blind: Let me know what you think. If this looks okay to you, all we need to do is tincture it and slap it on the right background.

It...'brings tears to my eyes. My little Talossan heart swells. You nailed my vision. I'm glad you like it! My Dandelion is playing Minecraft on the computer with GIMP right now, but I should be able to work up a complete draft emblazon later tonight or in the morning.

Much appreciated. As I stated before, CoAs are, to me at least, a demonstratable symbol of Talossan pride and duty. It's like saying... one of us... one of us...

one of us... one of us... Gooble gobble! Well, this has taken a lot longer than I expected, but on the plus side for me I feel like I've learned a fair bit about editing graphics. A caution: I think this turned out fairly well, but it is a pretty visually complicated design, and the King may have concerns that it is too complex to be identifiable. But we'll see how it goes. Anyways, here's a draft of the complete design: Or three bars nebuly azure a quinotaur sejant sable armed and crined gules queue quatrefoil blind.

I think it looks b***hen! We'll see what His Highness has to say, if he'll accept it.
Maybe we can make the Or a bit brighter as well as the azure, using the same colours as your own shield. That's what I had visualized.
thanks for this!

That's what I had visualized. thanks for this! Glad you approve! I was thinking the same thing about the background tinctures, especially the or. That's easy enough. I think I'll also try making the horns slightly larger so they'll stand out more from the mane, especially at thumbnail size.

Not to be too picky, but I think the hooves should be red as well (and maybe the dangerous part of the tail), and I wonder about a sejant or rampant sea creature. Serpents might be erect, glissant, or proper, but a bull in the water could be none of those. It is probably a matter of very silly semantics.

Serpents might be erect, glissant, or proper, but a bull in the water could be none of those. It is probably a matter of very silly semantics. I wondered about the hooves, too. I couldn't find any authority stating that "armed" covered hooves as well, but found many examples of bulls "armed and hoofed" or "armed and unguled". As for the attitude, a normal sea creature like a fish or dolphin would be blazoned "hauriant" for a vertical orientation or "naiant" for a horizontal orientation. But sea monsters like sea-horses and sea-lions can be naiant or sejant; blazoning such creatures as hauriant seems less common. Though I suppose it really should at least be "sejant-erect" to properly describe the rampant posture of the forelegs. Just plain "sejant" sea monsters are sometimes depicted with their forelegs resting on the ground. But the examples I've seen are somewhat inconsistent about whether sea monsters are blazoned as sejant, sejant-erect, or just plain erect. We could also just leave out the description of the attitude, because sejant-erect should probably be the default attitude of a quinotaur.
