All right, S:r Lux. What would you like on your arms? What's important to you?
Based on your last name, I might suggest Azure the sun in his splendour proper, since Lux means "light," but it's ultimately up to you.
Any thoughts?

I've actually made a draft of what it might be. I will post it on here when I get a chance at the end of the day.

Something of this nature. What do you think?

Okay, one big thing is that we can't have sable (black) on gules (red). Other than that, it's a bit complex. Is everything on there absolutely necessary? Anything you could live without? That says 戰和, right? "War and Peace"? Is there a reason behind that?

We can always change the colours, if it's necessary. My Chinese name in pinyin is Zhang Zhen which is a close homonym of the character for war 战争. I didn't want the characters awkwardly on one side so I added 和 (heping) in the other side as a balance and contrast.

People don't generally put their names on their arms. There are a few that have letters on them, and I think we could allow the "war and peace" in this case. I shall consult with someone more learned than myself on the matter.

According to the higher powers (i.e., the King), we can't do Chinese characters (the Ben symbol being excepted for historical reasons). The rest is probably okay, but we're unsure how to blazon the 4-diamond thingy. Will get back to you.

Well that's a pity. I'm a bit disappointed about that. Oh well I'll just expand the diamonds to occupy the upper quadrants of the shield.

Just following up on the progress of my CoA. Would it be acceptable to just expand the four diamonds to occupy the upper parts of the shield? I'll remove the characters and make a draft of what I mean.

As far as I can tell, that would indeed be acceptable. I just need to figure out how to blazon that little four-diamond thingy.
