1) Which language is most phonetically and grammatically similar to Talossan? 2) On a scale of 1-10, 1 being the easiest, and 10 being the hardest, how hard or easy is the Talossan language? I've been told that it is very similar to French (which I attempted to learn without THAT much difficulty).

It's a little complicated in my opinion. It's a very realistic Romance language, yet it possesses several Celtic and Germanic traits. To me, based on the phonetic structure It would sound like a fusion of French and several minor Romance languages (Catalan or Occitan). As far as learning it, studying a language is very much dependent on the person doing it, but to me it's fairly easy--about a 5 or 6. There's some things about it that needs getting used to (verb of motion, sound mutations, etc.) but as long as you have a community that'll provide you with practise and tutor, you'll get it. I'm fairly new to the language and this forum helps a lot!
