Have you ever wanted to join the high-paced, thrilling, and insanely well-paid Talossan legal system?
Do you enjoy administrative tasks?
Would you like to become the Deputy Clerk?
I have about three more weeks of archaic internet access. This is slower than dial up, if most of the active cybercits are even old enough to know about dial-up. The boat’s internet wasn’t great to start, but it’s gotten worse – the whole ship is protesting its nine month deployment. Every time I try to post a case, or upload a file, I get timed out.
Posting this involved writing it in Word, waiting 3 minutes to log in to Witt, waiting 2 minutes to open a new thread in the correct board, copy/paste, and then another 2 minutes waiting for it to post, praying that it won’t time out.
If you’re interested in helping out, shoot me an email and we can talk.

If I might make a suggestion here, the Prime Minister wanted S:r Marcel Tafial to be appointed Clerk of Courts, and from all I can tell he'd make an admirable Deputy. Is he willing to serve?

Not to undermine his majesty, but the civil service should be consulted on this matter, if the clerk of courts is wishing for a underling... eh hum... deputy, I will start the search straight away!

Not to undermine his majesty, but the civil service should be consulted on this matter, if the clerk of courts is wishing for a underling... eh hum... deputy, I will start the search straight away! The Clerk of Courts is not a ministry of the government and does not fall into the civil service. El Lex. G.5:The Clerk of Courts shall be an apolitical position appointed by the reigning Monarch upon recommendation of the Prime Minister and shall serve in the following capacities: (42RZ4) Additionally, The Clerk of Courts Unclogging Act specifies: The Clerk or the Senior Justice may deputize Court Officers to assist in the execution of these duties. Such deputization shall be made publicly by the Clerk and/or the Senior Justice and may be for a temporary term or an indefinite term, which the Clerk and/or Senior Justice shall stipulate in the public notice of deputization.

You could draft a preliminary version of a civil service code, to submit to the Commission when it reconvenes.
