I don't think anyone could fairly call BRENDAN! a propaganda rag.

And even with ESB fading into the background noise, there's been plenty of replacement drama recently regarding other former citizens, former-former citizens, and citizens who might eventually become former citizens, albeit temporarily, due to the stressful interactions they are having with the aforementioned former and formerly-former citizens. (Don't ask me to name names, the names are flying everywhere—legal names, Talossan names, nicknames, dirty names). Hell, we can't keep an A-G in power for longer than 11 minutes. I wish people would write about it. Word of the wise: don't waste your time with waiting for others to get moving. If you think that there is something that needs to be written down, do it! Write it! Especially if you are excited by the goings-on! If you need advice in this, ask for this advice. Don't hesitate to get the ball rolling.

LAST CALL FOR JUDGES AND NOMINATIONS
At this time, none have volunteered to judge and those who were contacted personally politely declined.
Unless a panel of three can be formed, the Awards may have to wait another year.

Any more? If I have judges who are also journalists, editors and nominators, I'll need more than three.

That's a potential issue with the current batch as it is. The best I can hope for is objectivity by force. It's either consensus or no winners -- no 5-way ties allowed.

Having earned citizenship during an era of two Talossas, I'm fast discovering one of the greatest yields of the Reunision has been the swift emergence of active and diverse journalism within the Kingdom. It's been a rich addition to the culture of this country and something I certainly hope to contribute to if I can manage to stick around for longer than like three weeks this time. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the distribution of these honors and nominate William Shatner to host the awards show.

Agreed! It's been a rich addition to the culture of this country and something I certainly hope to contribute to if I can manage to stick around for longer than like three weeks this time. Pretty sure el Beric'ht Talossan is still looking for writers, if you don't want to take on the burden of starting your own publication!

I'd not be impartial though Can I count on your participation? Most of the judges could be accused of being less than impartial. Plus, we're using range voting so that every candidate will have a rating of relative merit, so it's not a 'pick one' choice.

I have completed draft ballot forms based on the nominations so far. Perhaps we can review these on the TPA website in a special forum? I'd like everyone's feedback before the lists are finalized.
