That was some 4 years ago, wasn't it?

Well, that's always how we used to do it in the Republic - one of the perks of the SoS's job was to have an insight into the election results. But I'll promise not to do so if it worries people. How deep does this insight go? Could the SoS oversee everyone's voting habits in every detail? Then it wouldn't be a secret election anymore, and it might be more fair to vote openly, thus everybody can partake in seeing the secret sights.

How deep does this insight go? I don't remember, but I think that if you wanted, you could theoretically log in every five minutes and see if someone new had voted, and then see if the results had changed, thus pairing voters and votes off. However, there is also a choice of not seeing results until afterwards, both for admin and voters. When I take a brief look, it looks as if you can still see who voted then. When I was SoS I just did it the way Miestra has now, I didn't explore the different options.

That's not my concern. What would have worried me would be an option to uncover the ballots and to see an expicitly open list of the people's votes. (Edited to move an apostrophe one position leftwards)

Oh okay, that's cool then!
