Denying someone citizenship was not based upon a "political test" but in the laws as understood by the Secretary of State. Writing a deragatory post generalizing that "the monarchists are throwing a fit" is the same kind of base rhetoric you scream about and is entirely uncalled for.

When Hooligan and the King come out of the woodwork to oppose something, I think it was fair enough to point out that this was something that seemed threatening to the very basis of the monarchist establishment! I don't resile from that comment.
And yes, it was a political test. If the part of the oath that Andy and Judah had had problem with is the bit about being grateful for gifts of beer, I defy anyone to say that that would have caused their problems.

Au contraire. Count Hooligan asked for an injunction in his role as Squirrel King of Arms and de facto head of the College of Arms - a task he SHOULD have done and the King (or as you tend to refer to him despite not having done so here as John R) came "out of the woodwork" because you asked for his opinion.

AND it's not "the monarchists" when one particular member of a party makes an injunction. Stop over-generalizing. In fact, everyone should stop over-generalzing.
