I vote in favour, but I would like to make a condition to this. I believe that we should hold an election/poll for the general citizenry in Maritiimi-Maxhestic, in order for the general population to have a say in this before anything is set in marble and asphalt

We can always reverse this decision with ease, if we so choose. I don't think a plebiscite is necessary - we were elected to make these sorts of decisions, after all, and this is not particularly controversial.

Concerned citizen S:reu Txev Vinier has proposed we have a holiday to celebrate our province. I think he is correct, and the omission up to this point is a horrible oversight. But the important question: what date should we pick? Any suggestions (from anyone: the Assembly is open for comment)?

But the important question: what date should we pick? Any suggestions (from anyone: the Assembly is open for comment)? I do not wish to discriminate against any date. Our Province is so majestic, we should celebrate EVERY day!

The Secretary of State has responded with an acknowledgement of our election plans, ensuring that the election will occur. If, in the interim, someone wishes to try to arrange for independent provincial elections, that is still possible (although I do not advise it).
No suggestions as to a better name for the holiday? My current one is a bit blah.

An alternate name in our national language might be - if I have rendered it correctly - "Maritiimi-Maxhestic Istuporaziua," or "Maritiimi-Maxhestic Wonder-day."

Well, as I wait for any input on our holiday, there's the other thing I proposed recently, re: the Sticla. I think that rather than removing this requirement, it might be best simply to insert a clause requiring that the Grand General Secretary post a reminder notice, twenty days before the election.
"II. Registration as a political party is simple, and amounts to giving public notice to Maritiimi-Maxhestians a minimum of ten days before the election. This public notice shall be formally called the Sticla, and must be available on request to any potential voter. The Sticla must indicate who is the head of the party. The Head of the party named in the Sticla is the only person who can assign seats won by their party in the election. While it is not required to have information about the political positions and advocacies of the party, this is something that is recommended."
...would then be changed to:
