It is good to see everyone so enthousiastic about reuniting, and if those who are currently still citizens of the republic feel more welcome here if they have their own province, that can only be considered a good thing. But still, how many of you consider to stay Cézembreans?
Everyone knows Cézembre has its own unique culture, but we could certainly use some more provincial activity. Republican and loyalist Cézembreans have lived seperated from each other on the same island for a long time now. It do really hope that some of the republican Cézembreans will stay on this island and work together to make the best province of Talossa even greater, politically and culturally.

I have been sorely tempted, because I've always been assigned to Cézembre and identify strongly with the province. We used to have Cézembremoots where we travelled to some central location in Europe and met up for discussions and hanging out. They were great.
However, Fiôvâ will need at least ten citizens to be created and by now, after almost eight years in the republic, I have grown attached to her cultural heritage as well, especially since the republic always -- for good and worse -- preserved the Talossan look'n'feel better than the Kingdom, which underwent a substantial makeover after Ben left, being composed mostly of new blood.
So I'll stick with Fiôvâ. But it will feel weird.

It's similar here. I liked the somewhat European touch of Cézembre, but on the other hand in the rather small Republic of Talossa the provincial divisions never really took off.
At least once upon the time I met a fellow Cézembrean, my (back in the day) nearest Talossan neighbour, who lives in the Saar/Lorraine/Luxembourg heartland of the European Union.
Anyway, in the beginning I prefer to be part of the adventure that is the foundation of the Province of Fiôvâ. Some of the people there I know since the days when I first stumbled upon Penguinea, others since the early days of the Republic, so in a "home is where my heart is" sense I'm belonging to the new province, I suppose.

Might I suggest "Keys to the Principality" being granted to ex-Republican Cezembreans?

Here I was thinking I'd posted already. Might I suggest reviving the idea of a "Keys to the Kingdom" system of honouring Republican Cezembrians?

Hear hear, I heartily endorse keys to the province, spare boats, and all the national currency that they can consume to any and all Fiôvâns!

Hey, since I'm going to Fiova, perhaps you guys should hold on to this: home.online.no/~higraffg/arts/I looked for the files on my computer, but couldn't find them...but the link still works, although it's connected to an inactive account. Unfortunately I don't remember the password, so I can't easily download the files Have a look and see what happened in the old days when I (and other "old" Talossans) had way too much time available..

Ah, yes, The Arts Centre. Those were the days. There are nice "site sucking" applications to download entire websites with one click. And hi, Gjermund. I believe you're the doyen now that the Old Growthers have gone to sleep.
