I still find myself leaning toward neither side. At this point, I'm in Abstain position.

I really don't think one year is going to make that much of a difference.

I would vote for an increase to 16. Like I said, I think I have proven that young citizens can be actively involved in Talossa. I am Seneschal of Cézembre province and member of the cosa, as a PP member. Now I'm really sorry to find out the leader of the party I believed in thinks I'm not old enough and I should only be here because I am here already. You say It seem like a good progressive move but you're wrong. Progressive parties have always represented young people more than conservative ones. In The Netherlands the only party that believes voting age should be lowered is D66, the most progressive party there is in Holland. Dreu, I think most Talossans would agree you belong here and you belonged here when you were 14. You were and are a respected Talossan and perfectly capable of contributing to or beloved country. Therefore, you proved your own wrong. Once again I quote MC Vitxalmour Caceir: Age =/= Wisdom.

Therefore, you proved your own wrong. Once again I quote MC Vitalxmour Caceir: Age =/= Wisdom. First, let me say that the comments I made regarding this Act were made before I was the leader of the PP. They reflect my personal opinions. I revert back to my example of the Navy, which allowed young men to enlist at the age of 16 during WW2. Did changing the age to 17 (with parental consent) insult the memory of those 16 year olds who served honorably? No, and I'm sure many served even better than fellow sailors in their 20's. Does that mean we should once more allow 16 year olds to enlist in the Navy? As my views do not necessarily reflect the views of the PP as a whole, on this measure I will abstain. However, surely there is a way to compromise on this point. I will conclude by saying, don't take it so personally. I never said that you should only get to remain a citizen because you already are one. All I said is that we might consider changing the voting age. If you look at my previous record, you will see that I've also strongly advocated lowering the age for an officer's commission in the military from 21 to 16 or 17.
