My apologies for my lack of participation in the discussion in the hopper of this bill. I have been a bit distracted with the events leading up to the thread I have recently posted in the chat room at talossa.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=chatroom&action=display&thread=1187026771
My observation was not intended to in any way disparage the fine work of the authors, however, it would appear that there would be ample opportunity to consider any changes to the organic law and statutes on an item by item basis.

Yes you must to vote on VOC!!!

What is VOC: "Vote of Confidence" or "Votâ da Confiençù". In each Clark, each member of the Cosâ is asked whether he desires that the Government should continue in power, and must answer Yes or No. If the number of No votes ever equals or surpasses the number of Yes votes, the Cosâ is immediately dissolved and a new election called to begin on the 15th of the next month!

While again it is now too late for discussion, since several of my esteemed colleagues decided they would wait until the vote before raising any objections to a bill which went entirely without comment for weeks, I would point out to my fellow legislator S:reu Diulofaceva that he would not have been supporting smoking, but rather permitting the freedom to choose. Talossans should have that freedom.

It is extraordinarily aggravating that so many legislators have chosen to wait until the bill has come to a vote before opposing it, and even more so that some of them have voted against it without bothering to give a reason for their vote. Certainly this is not a necessity, but it is somewhat discourteous to vote against something you either did not object to previously or did not bother to read when it was being discussed.
