I thoroughly disagree with an extended probationery period beyond the present 2 weeks of immigration procedure. A citizen has more than enough time in that period to read the laws, and if they do not you can hardly expect a further two weeks to fix that. Clearly, as my mistake (which I believe apparently is the cause of this whole mess) has shown, it takes more than reading the laws to become familiarized with the laws and customs of the Kingdom of Talossa. I remember the words of St Paul to Timothy: “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. ... Do not neglect your gift." I do agree with you here though, very much so.

I think the question here is that Breneir is arguing that simply informing newbies about a party is not the same as aggressively recruiting them for an anarchic party - if I read him aright.

I understand Breneir's point, and agree with it, but nitpicky details lead to nothing but trouble. Having definites on what can and cannot be done will cause as little trouble as possible.
Allowing unneeded "here and there" exceptions and lead to confusion and more "accidental" violations. Additionally, we would have to define what constitutes "informing" and "campaigning".
I respect your difference in opinion and am willing to accept it, but I personally think prospective/new citizens should be free from political pressure for at least some amount of time (2 weeks is too short, 6 months is too long)...

Éovart, I will agree that definites are good but we should leave this to the Prime Minister's Summit that has been called where definites can be clearly enunciated.
