I've been around for a while, maybe its time I consider a translation of my name.
My full name is Timothy James Maximilian Olivieri. I'm not opposed to mixing up my name depending on how those all translate (for example, simply going by my first and middle name).
Anyone have thoughts?

Surprisingly to me, there seems to be no direct translation of Timothy (yet) into Talossan. We would need to consult the Ladintsch Naziunal on this one.
James is Txec. Maximilian is simply Max in Talossan.
And as for your surname, I believe you are among the rather surprisingly large number of Talossans (Xhorxh Asmoûr, Vito Toctviac'htéir, Olaf Brainerd, Joseph Oliver Walkland) with names derived from the olive. The Talossan word for olive is þolivâ, for Oliver is Olaf, and for the olive tree is asmoûr.

Wow, that is surprising. Makes me feel a little less special, however. My name does, in fact, derive from the "olive" in the sense that my ancestors were Olive Farmers. As such, the Olive Tree appears in both my Talossan Coat of Arms and that of my Family in Italy.
Is there a way to vary asmoûr a bit so that I don't appear to be claiming relation to Xhorxh Asmoör? (Not that such would necessarily be a bad thing)

Like Lord Hooligan said, "Timothy" is not in the dictionary. Being a Biblical name, the normal course of action would be to take it straight from the Bible. But it might make more sense to transliterate it, like "Tímoþi". Olivieri is a patronymic form of Oliviero, so you could distinguish it from Asmoûr by adding the patronymic suffix -escu (Asmourescu) or putting d' on the front (d'Asmoûr). What do you think?

Tímoþi Max Asmourescu sounds like a good fit for me. If I can go the route of Cresti and identify as T.M. Asmourescu that would be even better. What do you guys think?

I was going to suggest, since the good Captain said that the name derives from the fact that his ancestors were olive farmers that perhaps the -éir suffix would work. Something like "of the family of he who works with the olive trees" would be something like d'Asmoûréir (or something like that?)

I like that even more. All right, T.M. d'Asmoûréir. With the Prime Minister's consent, I'd like to make that one official.

It may be a little late, but þolivéir sounds better to me, and closer to Capitán Tim's real surname.

The leader of the CUG has a great suggestion there. þolivéir, meaning "he who works with olives" (I would think). If it is desired to make it patronymic ("from the family of he...") then "da" would need to be added to the front, or -escu to the end.
So many choices, huh, Tim?

Wow, I guess too many choices is a good thing...
I'm gonna back peddle a little bit here in light of all the choices and go back to one of the originals (just because I like the way it looks, really..)
T.M. Asmourescu
I want to thank everyone for the great suggestions, they all rock but this one is jumping out from amongst the others for some reason.

Asmourescu I want to thank everyone for the great suggestions, they all rock but this one is jumping out from amongst the others for some reason. Those are all good suggestions! The cool thing about Þolivéir is that Catrinâ Þestrâ would no longer be the only citizen in the "Þ" category in the alphabetical citizenship list. But she might appreciate the coolness of being the only Þ. Is that your final answer?

....I don't even know how to respond to that. You've officially rendered me speechless. You've done what my family and friends have been trying to do for years. Kudos.
