Fifty-word statement: The RUMP has served the people well for a term which was filled with growth, activity, and fun. For the next term, we promise more of the same, as well as efficient and standardized government, promotion of provincial activity, and a continued concentration on what it means to be Talossan.

1. Now that the RUMP has shown the nation what it means to have active Ministries, the RUMP pledges to continue to work to ensure that all Ministries will be standardized, so that no longer will the efforts of each Ministry be passed on from one administration to the next in the current slipshod fashion. Letterheads and policies for handling ministry activities (rough guidelines and sets of forms) will be created, and a system for passing current project materials to each newly appointed Minister will be developed for the ease of all future Talossan administrations. This will benefit the people with a much more efficient government, able to enact their will with swiftness and consistency.

2. Every province that desires a functional constitution will get one. The Distáin will work with provincial officials and active citizens to help facilitate this. Each province deserves and will get a constitution which helps mark its distinctiveness, ensure its provincial rights, and helps make its citizenry more active. Time and time again, we have seen provincial activity founder. Now that the RUMP has brought forth the Provincial Unshackling Amendment, if the nation ratifies this measure, the RUMP will continue this national initiative to help put a stop to these sinking ships and float the Talossan fleet of provinces high on the water.

3. The legal system will be brought back up to speed to deal with the unfortunate future possibility that it may need to be used once again. The RUMP will see to it that a new Chancellor of the Bar is appointed, and that the bar exam will be administered and new attorneys admitted to the practice of law. Further, to ensure high standards, new legislation will be drafted to prepare for regular upkeep of credentials on behalf of both attorneys and justices.

4. Our intrinsic connection with the Greater Talossan Area will be affirmed and strengthened, with the addition of more citizens who physically live in the GTA. The RUMP stands ready to appoint an active Home Minister living within our national borders, and a government run by the RUMP will assist and provide this Ministry with a targeted advertising campaign, using even more brand-new flyers and other aids, which will be promulgated within the GTA.

5. Having brought to the nation an active Finance Ministry, and having made this Ministry and the Royal Bank & Post more than just words, the already-in-progress stamps and currency projects will be continued, and during the next term the RUMP commits to releasing the first issue of both. No more will our nation wait for useless stamps and currency; this project will be done, and it will be done both superlatively and superfluously.

6. Immigration will continue with the same efficiency and pace to which the RUMP has allowed this nation to grow accustomed. This great Kingdom's open doors will continue to welcome all who will prove themselves active, interested, and dedicated Talossans, and we will continue to hope that all those who love Talossa will find their place within the Kingdom.

7. The work begun by the Ministry of Culture to see to it that all major pages on the national webspace will be translated into el glhetg will continue. Over the course of another RUMP administration every important page expressing who we are as a nation will be translated into our national language. The Ministry of Culture has created the Association of Talossan Language Organisations, and it has reinvigorated the use of our national language. With projects that have revitalised our national pastime and language, and through sponsoring a national Literature Contest, the RUMP's Ministry of Culture has shown, and will continue to show, how our nation's quirky and beautiful culture can flower.

8. Every other term, our brave party tries and fails to bring our beloved but frozen territory Pengöpäts into the country as a full province. It being an even numbered Cosâ, our party pledges to ready itself, without really doing anything, once again for this valiant struggle, which we pledge, as per tradition, to both propose and vote down in the 39th Cosâ, thus consigning our territory, still as just that, back to the wintry south.

9. The Ministry of Defence will address the growing issue of reanimated corpses, colloquially known as "zombies", and will create a policy and methodology for opposing these merciless undead.

Looks great! Don't forget wargaming though, which is the national pastime and one of the most important parts of Talossan culture. Lord Hooligan and Sam Tyler have finished a version of Diplomacy in el glhetg, and play is currently underway. And contrary to appearances, the Bureau of Wargames is actually working on projects, and will continue to do so. I hope to get one of our games prototyped over Christmas and playtest it as much as possible. Once I have playtested it as much as possible with family and friends, I will need blindtesters.
