And now, I am at 104 pages, 36,497 words.
What's new?
I have quoted exchanges with the founder of another micronation as part of the Micronation desk and some of those emails are long, mostly mine.
I have also added explanations on my first website, the sale of which left a void in my life I filled with the Talossa Database system.
I also explained how I switched from Perl to PHP.
Granted, those 2 last chapters are less interesting for people in Talossa, but they provide the background on the database system which I hope, it of interest to you people...

Oh, BTW, I am now at 107 pages, 38,045 words.
What's new? I explained the Witt crash for 2001.
Why only 3 pages? Because I did a new search for Wittenberg VIII archives in new folders I have recently found, and guess what? I discovered new messages from 2001 to 2002.
Still nothing from prior the October 2001 crash, I would have find those files in 2001 if I really had them.
But there are messages missing from between the crash and the latest archives, which were lost due to careless archiving.
I still hope to retrieve all of them, after all, I used to only have messages 14342-19817 and now, since this morning, I have messages 7837 until 19817, that's 6505 messages that I didn't have yesterday which I now have!
Since the crash occurred with message #5556 and I have thre next 15 messages, I am now only missing 2264 messages...
This is wonderful!

And another 5 pages this morning!
It's now at 112 pages or 39,922 words.
The new content? More on the PC-ZPT merger, but it's mostly one of my emails cited, and a new chapter on the Resident Miracle Worker nickname.

They are, and they will be available in a few days/weeks once I will have fixed a few problems with them. To publish the original messages, I had some processing to do, and I now have to do it again.

Ok, so the update is that I am now at 119 pages, and 42,164 words.
Yes, this is getting out of hand.
But the new thing is that I have divided the book into 6 main parts (each have a subtitle, but you will need to read the book to know what they are):
Part 1: 2000-2001 Part 2: 2002 Part 3: 2003 Part 4: 2004 Part 5: The Republic Part 6: Leaving Talossa
Part 6 is done, completed. It's only 4 pages, and includes my return to Talossa.
Part 5 only mentioned ESTO so far, with roughly 18 pages of material. I believe that I said almost everything I had to say about ESTO, unless I find really interesting stuff on Wittenberg X, which is not yet online.
I only have 5 other chapters planned for Part V.
Part 4 is as of now 13 pages long, and is mostly pastes from one of my own previous document highlighting then the recent past and ONE email since then added to talk about the PC-ZRT merger, but only because I found that email while researching something for Part 1.
Part 3 is only 2 pages long and included 2 chapters: one intially written for Part 1 which is now in Part 3 since it fits better there, and one from the same document making most of Part 4.
Part 2 is 3 pages long, but yesterday, was 1 pages, content originally written for Part 4 about stuff from 2002, so it was moved to Part 2.
As you can imagine, it is Part 1 which is the most complete, at 67 pages (the rest of the pages are the introduction and conclusion).
I wrote it by going thru my email archives (we do not have Wittenberg data for that part) and it reminded me of a bunch of events I forgot, but which reading about brings back memories.
In Part 1, I only have 2 more chapters to write, and 1 chapter to revise since it concerns another person still in Talossa and I am waiting for additional details from him.
The 2 missing Chapters?
The Database and Becoming the Witt Hoster.
There is 1 event which might have been either be in Part 1 or Part 2: the online dictionary, because it was a December/January project, so I decided to place it in Part 2.
I believe that Part 1 will be around 70 pages long: about 1 page for becoming Witt Hoster, and about 2 pages on the initial database (more chapters might be added as I find more information on Witt archives).
I just hope that it will be the longest part, since if Parts 2 to 5 are the same lenght, it might get me a 400 pages book!
I do not have a target size. The book will be the size it will be, but so far it's scary: almost every time I do research for 1 chapter, I find 2 more chapters to write about,

And now, I am at 122 pages, all new contents (no pasting of emails or transcript) and 42702 words.
I mostly added a "What is Talossa" chapter in the beginning in case someone reads this PDF without having an idea of what Talossa is, and it includes a small glossary (What is the Clark, the Cosa, etc...)
I also completed a small chapter on the creation of the Database in 2001, which was already half written.
This leaves only "Becoming the Witt hoster" and stuff on the secret war to be done in Part 1.
I am quite happy.. it is coming along nicely.

I found while searching for a personal email a folder with all (save for one) Talossa Weekly articles...
I added them to my book, and I added a few small chapters from content found with the Talossa Weekly.
The book is now 266 pages long, 89,548 words long.

Serialze it! I would love to read it My current plan is to distribute it as a Shareware, so that you can download it for free, but if you read it, you should pay an amount of your choice to the Kingdom of Talossa, perhaps a 5$ donation or something like that. But it will be available once finished, and not before, I am constantly revising earlier chapters as I find new information.

Since the last announcement, I went up to 329 pages, 111,603 words or 63 new pages.
I admit, most of it is quoted emails and Wittenberg posts, which I hope I mounted in a coherent narrative.
But it's all from an important part of our history, with behind the scenes look at a pivotal moment.

I am now at 340 pages, 115,860 words. What's interesting is that part of the quick growth this was was caused by a lot of quoting, but this morning, I added a full page of actual new words, tying things together.
The end of the book is looking more and more finished, more and more polished.
There is more and more links between the sections and it reads more like a narrative than random bits and pieces put together.
I am not sure with that part, but once I will be, in a few days hopefully, I will have a great final section.
