First, please let me welcome our newly seated members on May Day to the newly formed El Parti Rëuniziun (TRP; The Reunision Party) which intends to only exist for the current month prior to the call for a new general election. The candle that burns half as long burns twice as bright... and we will burn so very, very brightly for our brief existence as a new chapter of Talossa opens.
I shall keep my votes / comments concise on this long list.
43RZ20 AUSTANÉU 43RZ21 AUSTANÉU 43RZ22 AUSTANÉU 43RZ23 PER 43RZ24 CONTRA - everything that is connected is Talossan-in-nature and need not be enumerated 43RZ25 PER 43RZ26 PER 43RZ27 PER 43RZ28 PER 43RZ29 PER 43RZ30 AUSTANÉU 43RZ31 AUSTANÉU 43RZ32 PER - certainly with a right to appeal based upon the panel not being present 43RZ33 PER 43RZ34 PER - even with my thoughts on the next issue 43RZ35 CONTRA - as this needs to be dealt with in a different way such as one person one vote 43RZ36 PER
VoC = NON - Throw us bums out! Throw those RUMP bums out on their bums too! Let us start fresh, take us to the river, wash us down.

Well, if you had asked me a year ago if I thought I'd be voting as an MC in the Kingdom I would have almost certainly have laughed in your faces. Here goes, there's a first time for everything!
43RZ20 PER 43RZ21 PER 43RZ22 PER 43RZ23 PER 43RZ24 CONTRA - I am unconvinced that this law has any constructive point 43RZ25 PER 43RZ26 PER 43RZ27 PER 43RZ28 PER 43RZ29 AUSTANÉU 43RZ30 PER 43RZ31 PER 43RZ32 PER 43RZ33 AUSTANÉU - I cannot vote in favour on principle, though I see the need to amend the current procedure 43RZ34 PER 43RZ35 CONTRA 43RZ36 PER
VoC = NON

With my (willingly) reduced number of seats, in this both busy and historical session (and, as it happens, on this Holiday of Hatred) I vote as follows:
On 43RZ20, 43RZ21, 43RZ22 and 43RZ30 I must abstain - AUSTANÉU - because I have a personal interest in these results, and wish to show impartiality. On 43RZ34 and 43RZ35 I vote against - CONTRA - because I do not believe that we have fully addressed two of the base questions. I believe that we should have the freedom to abstain on the VoC, so I cannot vote for a bill that says we do not have that freedom. Moreover, I do not believe that we have recently had an adequate discussion on the splitting of votes - or even on the holding of multiple seats. On all other bills I vote PER. On the VoC I vote NON - let us wipe the slate clean and start again!
Summary:
43RZ20 AUSTANÉU 43RZ21 AUSTANÉU 43RZ22 AUSTANÉU 43RZ23 PER 43RZ34 PER 43RZ25 PER 43RZ26 PER 43RZ27 PER 43RZ28 PER 43RZ29 PER 43RZ30 AUSTANÉU 43RZ31 PER 43RZ32 PER 43RZ33 PER 43RZ34 CONTRA 43RZ35 CONTRA 43RX36 PER
VoC NON

43RZ36 – The Senate Election Details Amendment - This bill does actually clear up a messy bit of law. I like that it will ensure blank ballots are counted as blank ballots. The other issues can be discussed at a later date. PER
VOC - NON! Kick them out, Time for an election!
If I may be allowed to take a few moments to address the members of this 43rd Cosa for a final time. I thank you all once again for the privilege of working with you for another successful legislative session. This Cosa passed Acts into law that will be remembered and written about in history books. Law changes and discussions that brought nations together. I am proud to be Talossan right now and I say thank you and well done to my colleagues in the Cosa. I had intended to retire from the Cosa chamber at the conclusion of this Clark. I still intend to do so and with my recent non-political appointments within the Royal House my conscience is now forcing me out the door. It has been pointed out that our Secretary of State is a Senator and that it would be ok for me to return to the Cosa next term, but my heart is no longer in Talossan politics and so, I say farewell to this chamber. It has been an honour and a pleasure.
Before I go, If I could give the same heartfelt message of thanks and well done to the Senators of the 43rd session and wish well to the vacating personnel.
and Finally, to the members of the Government. You have helped make history. I have enjoyed playing the political fool for some time now. I enjoy bashing the government for the slightest thing out of place, for where else but in Talossa could I forge a mini-career as a leader of opposition? However, you have steered us well fine ladies and gents of the government and you have led the way to a new and bright era of Talossan culture, politics and existence. A particular round of applause, I think, is called for towards Lord Hooligan. He took control of the Prime Ministry when the Nation's needs were calling and displayed a seamless transition of office while performing well under pressure. S:rue la Mha, Well done and thank you.
If time travelling were permitted I would go forward and wish the new members of the 44th session luck but the legality issues are sketchy. Instead, I will make a pre-good-luck message and leave it here. Best of wishes and steer her well.
I'm taking that good scotch from the Cosa Bar by the way.

[The Tresplet who isn't a Tresplet stumbles to the podium, obviously inebriated]
I'll try to be somewhat quick, seeing as how we have so many acts to vote on:
On the Justice Removal Acts: Although I have not been around long enough to see an active case being tried, it is important to have an active and working judicial system should it be needed. 43RZ20--PER 43RZ21--PER 43RZ22--PER
On the other acts: On 43RZ23, I vote CON. I do not feel that the Ziu should cede control of an autonomous area to a province without the area's explicit permission. (Even if it practices no observable autonomy and therefore can't give its explicit permission.) It could set a dangerous precedent for future Zius. On 43RZ24, I vote PER! Long live Viult dal cäts! On 43RZ25, 43RZ26, and 43RZ27, I vote PER! Reunision has arrived! On 43RZ28, I vote PER, although I still believe that the deputy should be forbidden from carrying a loaded gun, and should only carry one round in his shirt pocket. On 43RZ29, I cast my vote as AUS. Although I agree that Talossa should abide by the Geneva Convention, I feel as though signing of any UN treaties or resolutions seriously threatens Talossan sovereignty. On 43RZ30, I vote PER. OrgLaw allows for this kind of an act, "In the event of a vacancy". On 43RZ31, I vote PER.
On the amendments: On 43RZ32, I cast my vote as AUS. Although I would prefer an active Cort, putting the decision of the Cort in one person's hands is a bit too much power for one person to handle. On 43RZ33, I vote PER. I agree with the King; we should err on the side of NOT erasing someone's name from the rolls. On 43RZ34, I vote PER. I feel that Cosa members should not be able to split their seats as if they were more than one member. On 43RZ35, I vote CON. Again, I do not feel Cosa members should be able to split their VoC votes like they have two different personalities. Additionally, it could put considerable burden on the SoS in the recording of the votes. On 43RZ36, I vote CON. Senators SHOULD come and be elected by citizens of their own Province. Senators represent the interests of their Province, and that is the point of having a Senäts; otherwise, you simply have a glorified Cosa.
Finally, as to the VoC, I cast my VOTE as ÜC.
Before I go, I would like to say that it was an honor serving with S:reu Grischun during his final Cosa for the short time that I myself have been a member. [raises a mug to toast the MC; chugs the beer down] I also ask that he returns the good scotch; I wasn't finished with it yet.
[S:reu Tresplet passes out after speaking so much…Or was it the alcohol?]

The guy who still claims to be the weirdest MC, since he was the one who came up with the idea of splitting votes, rises.- On 43RZ20 – The Justice Buchholtz Removal Act – I vote CON
Per a special request, I'm voting against this. - On 43RZ21 – The Justice Siervicül Removal Act – I vote PER
- On 43RZ22 – The Justice Castiglha Removal Act – I vote PER
The Cort needs to be made functional again, and so I vote to make it so. - On 43RZ23 – The Dún Cestour (Amending) Act – I vote PER
- On 43RZ24 – The Our Pets Are Talossan Too! Act – I vote PER
These are fairly minor acts, nothing objectionable. - On 43RZ25 – The Take Me to the River Omnibus Act – I vote PER
- On 43RZ26 – The Umpteen-and-One is Too Many Act – I vote PER
- On 43RZ27 – The Proud Mary Act – I vote PER
These acts complete Reunision on the part of the Ziu. I eagerly await the passage of a constitution by the to-be Fiovans and the proclamation of such by the King. - On 43RZ28 – The Bernard P. Fife Act – I vote PER
Need to keep things moving. - On 43RZ29 – An Act to Repeal 24RZ27 and to Amend 39RZ23 – I vote PER
It has been mentioned by Munditenens Tresplet that he thinks signing a treaty is dangerous to Talossa. That is actually a reason to vote for this bill. 24RZ27 technically obligates the Foreign Ministry to send notice of accession to the Swiss Federative Council; this eliminates that obligation, allowing us to declare adherence in our own code of laws without doing anything to draw the attention of the world. - On 43RZ30 – The Time-Traveling Judicial Nomination Act – I vote PER
- On 43RZ31 – Appointments to the Magistracy – I vote PER
I'm not entirely sure 43RZ30 is Organic, but I'll vote for those three nominees as a Senator next Ziu, presuming I am, in fact, elected to the Senate. VOTE PERÞONEST! It's an excuse to use a funny character in your ballot! [cough] - On 43RZ32 – The Too Many Inactive Cooks Amendment – I vote PER
Unfortunately, UC members have a tendency to go inactive and render the Cort inoperable. I considered, actually, introducing an amendment to reduce the Cort to on member, but thought that would be excessively concentrating. This probably isn't. - On 43RZ33 – The Three-Strike Amendment – I vote PER
I have no objections. - On 43RZ34 – The Duel-Preventing Grammar Amendment – I vote PER
- On 43RZ35 – The Duel-Preventing Vote-Splitting Amendment – I vote PER
Between them, these clear up the language of the current Organic Law. - On 43RZ36 – The Senate Election Details Amendment – I vote PER
Let people cast blank Senate ballots. On the Vote of Confidence, which has no effect since we have to go to elections anyway, I vote . . . the coin I flipped came up tails, so ÜC for the RUMP government. The weirdest MC takes his seat. Then stands up and takes his second seat. And then his third, and his fourth, and his fifth . . .
