As President of the Royal Bank & Post, I invite everyone (especially the College of Arms guys) alive, dead and living-dead to create designs for our currency and stamps, to be issued in the near future.
All designs must be in .jpg format.

Not the best with the graphic arts, though, so might ideas might be best as fodder for someone else's Photoshop/Illustrator/etc. talents. I have a plan for 3-4 sheets of stamps with multiple related designs on each sheet, that together would make (I think) a fairly attractive collector's set.

All designs must be in .jpg format. Oh yeah... for maximum quality, I would encourage using a non-lossy format. Like BMP or PNG. Or even a vector-based format. And the higher the resolution the better. We don't want any pixellation or jaggies on our banknotes or stamps. I would assume a resolution of 600dpi for stamps, for example. Of course, you can design using PNG, vector graphics, etc., but still produce a lower-res JPG version to send to Xhorxh for evaluation.

These are not designs per se, but treatments of the reverse of coins that could be issued in argent/or (or similar looking metals). The graphics are portrayed here in .jpg, but can be exported from CorelDraw in vector format such as .eps or output at a very high resolution non lossy image as required.

King Louis should be on the Louis King Ben should be on the Ben Maybe we should make another unit, a John perhaps? I don't think we should make any use of King Louis's image, out of consideration for the wishes of his parents. Might not be wise to use King Ben's image without his consent, either. Maybe the obverse could have a map of the Kingdom or something like that? That wouldn't require 3D engraving, so the minting costs would be lower. It'd be nice to include our URL, too, so that anyone who comes across one of our coins can find us easily.

Just to correct an earlier post, our smallest unit of currency is no longer named the ben. The name of that unit of currency was changed in the Newer Numismatic Naming Act (on the insistence of so-called "Old Guarders", if you will) to the "bent". In fact, this change was the only significant change from the "New Numismatic Naming Act" (which failed of passage, due to the wish of some legislators to rename the ben) and the "Newer" one.

It'd be nice to include our URL, too, so that anyone who comes across one of our coins can find us easily. Another option for "Minting" would be to issue these on custom casino style chips, which in turn could be in full color rather than just a metal, or could be colored to look like a metial. Those would likely run around 50 cents each at a quantity of 500.
