44RZ1 (Terpelaziuns) - I'm not entirely sure about this one. Surely ad hoc and verbal questions can be asked to the government without legislation saying so. Sure, the bill ensures that questions will be answered and within specific time frames and such, however, I dislike the way it provides 'escape hatches' for ministers. If a question is not 'titled properly' it can be a defence for the minister to not answer it? - NON
44RZ2 (Breach) - I LOVE THIS BILL! - NON
44RZ3 (Curtain) - I am still not 100% sold that we need a secret ballot in Talossa. The burden of proof on the supporters of the secret ballot has not been satisfied. They have yet to prove that a bandwagon effect exists and are yet to prove that an open ballot is more likely to suffer from fraud. In fact, taking a look at past Uppermost Cort Cases proves that the open ballot has successfully prevented fraudulent voting. Still, I recognize that a significant portion of the society desires to vote in secret, citing privacy concerns. This bill caters for them while at the same time allowing a similar "human eye" scrutiny from an electoral commission to prevent fraud. Further, the bill still allows supporters of the open ballot to continue voting out in the open. Sounds like a win-win to me. - PER
44RZ4 (Fun) - Sensible. The month long election is too long, especially when the fortnight of campaigning prior to balloting day is also taken into consideration. An incidental consequence of this bill would be that it gives a full month after the election before the first Clark commences. It has been said that this gives a new government more time to form itself but it also gives an extra two weeks to incoming legislators to propose and debate bills for the first Clarks. This makes me wonder if we will still need the "10 day Hopper rule" for Clark #1 if this passes. Something to discuss for the next Clark perhaps. - PER
44RZ5 (Oil) - The only issue I have with this bill is that it still messes around with party endorsements of senate candidates, something I would like to see abolished. Anyway, that is a separate issue for separate consideration. This bills main thrust is in devolving electoral powers to the provinces and I think that is a good step towards increasing overall provincial activity. - PER
44RZ666 (Lets Waste Time) - For similar reasons to 'Carpenter' below. - NON
44RZ777 (Carpenter) - As Justice dal Navá and Member Edwards point out, this bill likely infringes upon 'freedom of conscience'. - NON
44RZ8 (Oath) - Nothing wrong here. Nothing to say. - PER
44RZ9 (Past/Future) - Totally undecided and I don't think more time or discussion will help me. - AUS
44RZ10 (Short) - Again, betwixxed and betweened. I understand the reasons to abolish but I always hoped we would eventually get around to sorting this out properly so that Members did end up with a geographic area. If for nothing more than ceremony. - AUS
44RZ11 (XIX) - I honestly don't understand the problems that a few people have with this bill. Well, I do, if I really strain myself to think like a die hard derivitist for a few moments. The fact remains, though, that certain things will never affect, effect or simply enter into Talossan affairs and our law should probably reflect that. I also fail to see how one or two people believe this bill removes one's 'rights'. Just because a 'right' has not been 'enshrined' as such does not take away those 'rights'. The rights will still exist by implication. This bill ensures that Talossans will not be charged, tried, judged, mocked, whatever for various things that may be illegal elsewhere and in macronational laws. Such rights within Talossa (and within any conceivable Talossan context) will still stand without so-called 'enshrinement'. At the same time this bill removes from the laws certain aspects that could alienate some Talossans by infringing on their 'freedoms of conscience'. - PER
44RZ12 (Masses) - I think a little more discussion is needed on this. I also think 13 is too low a number right now. Plus the number 13 gives me the heeby jeebys proper. It's bad enough that this Clark has ended up with 13 bills on it at the same time as an RZ666! Totally bad joo-joo, dude! - NON
44RZ13 (Seedling) - Conscience call. - AUS

While I am not done considering many of these bills, I would like to register my immediate vote against 44RZ666, "The Let's Waste Time and Propose Stupid Legislation Amendment," and 44RZ777, "The My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter Amendment." With regard to both bills, I vote a strident contrâ.

44RZ1 (Terpelaziuns) - Okay about this one. - PER
44RZ2 (Breach) - What is going to be the next new province, Port Maxhestic? Ataturk East? Maricopa North-North-West? Cezembre Autorisee and Interditee? - CON
44RZ3 (Curtain) - Though I will continue to vote with the open ballot, I don't see any reason to impede others to cast their votes privately. - AUS
44RZ4 (Fun) - Great. Why I haven't cosponsored it? - PER
44RZ5 (Oil) - Look at 44RZ3. - AUS
44RZ666 (Lets Waste Time) - Viteu, for once I must blame you. - CON
44RZ777 (Carpenter) - No comments, because a vocabulary won't be enough to write all them. - CON
44RZ8 (Oath) - Okay. - PER
44RZ9 (Past/Future) - As above, good bill. - PER
44RZ10 (Short) - When is right is right. - PER
44RZ11 (XIX) - With apologizes, I haven't understood nothing and I doubt that read the amendment once more will help me. - AUS
44RZ12 (Masses) - I think there are other ways to "open the Cosa to the masses", but this might be a starting point. - PER
44RZ13 (Seedling) - Don't ask me nothing anymore about that Covenant. - AUS
VOC - UC. Best wishes to do a good job, RUMPers.

I, Daviu Lundescu, hereby cast my ballot for the August 2012, 44th Cosa Clark, these are my votes: [Reads piece of paper]
Here ye be warned
• 44RZ1 - PER
• 44RZ2 - AUS
• 44RZ3 - PER
• 44RZ4 - PER
• 44RZ5 – PER
• 44RZ666 – CONTRA, This bill I believe should not be on the Clark, it creates a single rule and ultimately goes against Talossa’s Freedom of Religion. Plus, I do not get the point of what made such a bill come about.
• 44RZ777 – CONTRA, This bill too, I believe, should not be on the Clark, it also creates a single rule and ultimately goes against Talossa’s Freedom of Religion.
• 44RZ8 - PER
• 44RZ9 - PER
• 44RZ10 – CONTRA, I think a little more explanation is needed as to the cause of why this section needs to be repealed.
• 44RZ11 - PER
• 44RZ12 – CONTRA, I think this bill, needs to be discussed a little and maybe a negotiation made between the parties. I can see problems with limiting the seats to a such small amount.
• 44RZ13 – CONTRA, As it is NOW written, I will have to vote against it, if the bill were written a little differently to include things such as exceptions, I MAY be in favour of putting it through.
VoC: UC

[The quirky MC pulls himself up from his seat once again, takes the gum from his mouth and sticks it to the back of the person sitting in front of him, and stumbles to the podium]
For this First Clark of the 44th Cosa, I cast my votes as follows:
On 44RZ1, I vote PER. I understand where some are coming from on asking questions of Ministers, however, as this bill points out, legislation is already in place for this purpose, and this bill simply serves to update the way it is codified.
On 44RZ2, I AUSTANÉU. I have received countless telegrams from the residents of Péngöpäts that express so many different opinions, I cannot say for sure what the residents themselves wish. Therefore, at this time I cannot bring myself as a representative to vote one way or another until the conclusion of a non-binding poll my office will be taking shortly.
On 44RZ3, I vote PER. I believe in a secret balloting system, and I feel that this is a big step towards such a system.
On 44RZ4, I vote PER. After going through my first seemingly endless month of a General Election, I feel as though we could have one a bit shorter. Much shorter.
On 44RZ5, I vote PER, for reasons specified above already. Why did we need two bills for the same purpose though?
On 44RZ666, I vote a hearty PER! Although we shouldn't have such legislation as it is infringing on a Talossan's religious rights, we have people voting for RZ777, so I'm going to vote for RZ666.
On 44RZ777, I cast a hard vote CONTRA. I prefer real kings.
On 44RZ8, I vote PER. I know I've only been here since January, but there hasn't been a judicial oath until now?
On 44RZ9, I vote PER. I see nothing wrong with this.
On 44RZ10, I vote CONTRA! The only representation Péngöpäts currently has is through my Cosa seats. Why should we amend this anyway? If you don't want to practice ceremonial representation, then don't. I want to, and I will.
On 44RZ11, I vote PER. This amendment seeks to update the current Covenant of Rights and Freedoms.
On 44RZ12, I AUSTANÉU. Not too sure why this is all that important.
On 44RZ13, I AUSTANÉU. Although I would typically vote against this, I'll let the Citizens decide.
Regarding the VoC, I happily vote ÜC.

44RZ1: PER 44RZ2: AUST - this bill is a total waste of our time and energy and its proposers should be ashamed of themselves. 44RZ3: PER - with caveats. This is a step towards a comprehensive secret ballot and worth supporting, but the ZRT declares its intention to clarify its provisions via statute law later. 44RZ5: PER 44RZ666: CONTRA (although it certainly was tempting to pass a pro-Satan vote, for the lulz) 44RZ777: CONTRA 44RZ8: PER 44RZ9: PER 44RZ10: PER - I favour deleting everything from the OrgLaw that isn't absolutely vital. 44RZ12: PER 44RZ13: CONTRA VoC: NON

44RZ1: I've always been fond of question-time, so I vote Për. 44RZ2: I vote Contrâ on the insidious Breach amendment sponsored by the insidious RUMP. Insidious! 44RZ3: On this and the following three amendments, I happily vote Për. I have been pleased that once again my party is taking the lead on a major issue and making practical change happen. 44RZ4: Për 44RZ5: Për 44RZ8: The oath thing seems like a good idea, so I also vote Për on it. 44RZ9: I do not think this bill has been thoroughly thought-out, and so I vote a gentle Contrâ, but with the advice that I wish to see it come up again. 44RZ10: As to this bill, I vote Për. This is a first step to my future plan wherein Maritiimi-Maxhestic elects all MCs. 44RZ11: Hesitantly, I vote Për. While I have appreciated the explicit guarantees of some rights that I support, I must recognize that many of these are exceedingly divisive issues. And I note that this amendment will still ensure that the government doesn't interfere in these rights. Let's try to keep culture war out of Talossa. 44RZ12: This number is too low. I vote Contrâ. 44RZ13: I vote Contrâ. On the VoC, I vote Üc.
