Thank you. We have no time for a rebuttal, I'm afraid.
Both candidates, please start thinking of your closing statement. It may be six hundred words or fewer.

I will be asking for S:reu Grischun's closing statement tomorrow, and Sir Trotxa's on Saturday. Please consider summarizing who you are and what you will do for the province. I will be drawing on these closing statements for this Sunday's article covering the debates.

Thank you Sir Alex. And thank you, again for organizing and moderating this debate. It has not gone unnoticed that you have been most super busy these past few weeks and I would like to applaud you and say Good Job, Chap.
Thank you Sir Troxta for a rather gentlemanly debate. I only wish we had more time to continue with it as I've enjoyed this opportunity to discuss our views.
To the voters of Vuode,
I hope the comments made in this debate have helped you to make your mind up on how to vote in this Senate election. As we conclude, I will present you with my 'personal manifesto'.
As your Senator I promise to represent you. I will often vote and act against my own desire and against the grain of my party colleagues if the majority of this province has a clear voice on an issue. A vote for me is a vote for real representation in the Senate chamber for Vuode.
I will hold regular Senator Surgeries at various locations in Vuode throughout the Cosa term. This is where you can come to me to seek advice, give me your opinions and/or complain about my service.
I will continue with the traditions of many Senators by discussing my opinions on pending legislation in public and in advance while seeking the feeling of the province before voting.
I will always vote at the latest possible point of the month to give you ample time to reach me with your views and instructions.
I promise to let go of partisan politics if elected. I will judge each bill on what benefits it can provide Vuode. Where a bill would have zero bearing on provincial matters then, as stated above, I will seek guidance from my constituents. Where no instructions have been given, I will take this as a signal of your trust in my discretion.
I fully support Pengopats becoming a constituted province.
I will also work with all other Senators. I intend to hold regular chats with my Senate colleagues to find out what they all think about a particular bill or set of issues. I will do this in an effort to be as fully informed as possible and to keep a check and balance on my own self will.
I will seek to amend the geographic assignment areas for Vuode. This is so we get a fairer shake of the stick in regards to immigration numbers. I also personally support the proposed planks of MRPT manifesto in relation to abolishing the 'province closed' rules and provincial reassignment rules. However, as said, I will only vote in favour of changes if the province at large so desires.
I will seek to reclaim the other half of the water tower and put an end to the unfair water embargo restrictions placed on Vuode from the evil water snatching province of M-M.
I do not support Pengopats becoming a province.
I will now ask my fellow Vuodeans to place their trust in me and humbly request you to vote for 'Éovart Grischun' (thats me) as your next Senator.
A free unicorn for the first 20 voters who vote for me.
A phoenix will be donated to Voude Zoo if I am elected.
A phoenix and a griffin will be donated if Sir T gives me his vote.
Yours for Talossa.
Yours for Vuode.
God Save the King.
Warm Regards.
Toodlepip.
Eðo.

Thank you, S:reu Grischun. And thank you for the kind words, although we won't ever give back the tower.
Sir Trotxâ, you may give your closing statement whenever you are ready.

Thank you, S:reu Grischun. And thank you for the kind words, although we won't ever give back the tower. Sir Trotxâ, you may give your closing statement whenever you are ready.Thank you, Sir Alex and thank you Eðo - both for your time and your ideas. We're all volunteers in Talossa. This has been a useful exercise in the democratic process. Although this debate has been in a public forum, I want to address this next message to a special group of friends: Aladna, Atxuteir, Ben, Catrina, Dréu, Enric, Fred, Gunnar, Ián, James, Satüreu, Vaughan, and Yair. You are the citizens of Vuode. The future of the country rests in your hands. Each of you has heard from me before. Some of you responded with great conversations. We've shared some wonderful moments – the joys of getting a new job, heartaches when the kids lock your keys in the car. I hope each of you knows that you have a friend in Vuode that stands by you and tries to represent your interests. I'd like to ask for your help in continuing to represent you in the Senäts. The question in this election is not if my opponent is a good man. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he is. Eðo is a good man, and I thank him for keeping this debate civil. It has been my honour to work with Eðo in the Estats Xhenerais. I look forward to working with him again. The question of this election is, "Who is the right man to represent Vuode in the Senäts?" Friends, I hope that you will agree that your friend Trotxâ is the best one to represent you in the Senäts. When duty called and Eðo appointed me to the vacant Senäts seat, I stepped up. I'm stepping up again. It is my duty to make sure that your interests are represented. It was my honour to be elected as the Presiding Officer of the Estats Xhenerais, and it was my duty to make things happen there. As Presiding Officer, I used my experience to change things so we in Vuode had a full set of sessions for the first time since we adopted our new constitution. Duty. Honour. Experience. Your friend Trotxâ is the best one to represent you in the Senäts. Representing you in the Senäts is a serious responsibility, and each of you should know what you're getting with your vote. I pledge to work with my fellow Senators on reforming the immigration process, including fixing our catchment areas, and working to build a consensus for an immigration test. I also pledge to strengthen our laws against election fraud. Fellow Vuodeans, in this election, people from other provinces will look to their own interests, which won't match the interests of the citizens of Vuode. I believe that you, the people of Vuode, are smart enough and wise enough to make the right decision. My friends, when you decide – decide for yourself and for Vuode. Don't decide based on a twisted vision spewed by loud mouths from other provinces. Look to protect your home – the oldest and best province in Talossa. I trust each of you to do what's best for Vuode. Vote Trotxâ for Vuode/ Votez Trotxâ à Vuode.
