An artisanal pale ale from Valscura Brewery in Sarone di Caneva, "Matrimoniale": valscura.com/matrimoniale_eng.htmlWe also bought a bottle of fig-flavored beer made with Caneva's renowned figomoro (a local variety of black fig), "Fich", and I have to say I'm really looking forward to taste it. By the way, canned Guinness sucks. Had a pint of Guinness in London and it was alright; bought some cans here, and I was like "meh...". |

I admittedly like canned Guinness, maybe because I have to drive out of town to find it on draught (all the local drinking establishments usually just have Busch, Coors, and Bud Light on tap.) But I finally had a draught Guinness for the first time in a long time last Saturday, and it is way better than the canned stuff. (The best Irish canned stout with that widget in it, in my opinion, is Beamish. I love that stuff. Also probably not as good as draught Beamish, but I've never been anywhere that had it on tap.)
