Azul everyone, The time has come for me to gracefully step aside as leader of unified Talossa's first republican party. Having led the party successfully into government, and having made some notable achievements along the way I now believe the time is right for someone else to take the helm. The ZRT can be considered a household name in Talossa these days - it's an established brand, and this is something I'm so very proud of. It's with heavy heart that I feel the need to step aside, but I think it's both for the best of the party and indeed myself. Effective immediately, the ZRT's Party President Miestra Schiva will be taking over as interim leader until the Convention which will be held next week. It's not too late for folks to join the party and vote and/or stand in those elections, and if you're republican-minded and a dirigist I would wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. When the Convention is finally called, I would expect the party to ask for my seats back given that I will also be handing in my membership card at that point. Given that I was on the party list during the election, however, maybe the party will consider letting me keep hold of those seats? It is up to the Seneschal whether he would like me to continue serving as Distain (and Deputy Minister for Immigration, though this is less of a problem). I'll be happy with whatever he decides, I'm sure. So long, and thanks for all the fish.

The former citizens of the Republic are no longer gathering in their own political party but are branching out, just like we no longer huddle in our own province. Talossa is becoming whole at last.

The ZRT was never designed to be a reviênsadéir/Fiôvân "ethnic party" and I sincerely hope we stake a claim as a clearly republican - that is "Less Monarchy, preferably None" as our central point of difference. I hope the upcoming convention will make this very clear and thus differentiate the republican/dirigiste ZRT from the various liberal/peculiarist/"agnostic on the monarchy" parties which seem to be crystallising in the centre-ground of Talossan politics.
I will not be standing for the permanent leadership because I'm far too busy, but I will encourage the incoming leader to ask for, perhaps, all but two of Carlüs' seats back (symbolising his own vote). I think it would be better for everyone if his new party has a blank slate to start from and our party keeps the voting power which the rest of the people gave it.
Best of luck to our former leader and I hope to see us together as part of another ruling coalition after the next election!

What this tells me is that now Reunision is complete. The former citizens of the Republic are no longer gathering in their own political party but are branching out, just like we no longer huddle in our own province. Talossa is becoming whole at last. Erm... hm. Neither did all politically active former citizens of the Republic join the ZRT, nor did the ZRT claim to be the "ethnical party" of Fiôvâ, just as Dame Miestrâ said. Anyway Fiôvâ may gain a bit more internal political diversity, as a side effect of the foundation of a new political party. And the political landscape of Talossa as a whole may see some surprising changes, too. For instance, Peculiarism seems to have become a broadly accepted and shared political philosophy. Nowadays no political party is denying that Talossa has to seek her own way twixt being a traditional nation and the mockery that is called micronationalism. Therefore an explicitly decided peculiarist party has become obsolete, election results have been proving this ever since Reunision. I'll stop typing now, or a whole manifesto for a new party will come streaming out of my keyboard. Stay tuned for more.
