Sword over I think also, can you half and half the right? Blue and red? Splitting the right side would add another division and another tincture. That would push the current complexity to 10.

The key I think here is for you to narrow down the most important elements of what you want.

The key I think here is for you to narrow down the most important elements of what you want. ... I just want to make it look cool... Without the sword it looks slightly plain? Maybe, if no sword, red half and blue half... I would be happy with that

There are a lot of ways to divide the field that might look more interesting. See this page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Division_of_the_field. We also don't have to settle for dividing the escutcheon into colors: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variation_of_the_fieldI really recommend you look over these pages and others presented because there is a wealth of knowledge and ideas out there. If I make a CoA for you that you are not 100% satisfied with, it is something you AND your heirs will have to live with because we only get to do this once.

Ok let's try a new approach. Attached is a tri-colored background. Let's start there. How would you like this to look (i.e. colors, divisions). After approving that step, we will begin adding charges. Attachments:

Not sure on the gray, and the black centre parting... White left, centre yellow?

To make this more official, you are asking for the left side of the shield to be argent, with the division to be or. Each step of the way I will also include the actual Blazon (which is really what getting a CoA is all about). Blazon: Argent in sinister azure and gules, per pale or. By the way, the only reason I chose to make the right side more silver was for contrast. In reality, a CoA needs to have enough contrast to be easily recognized from a distance. Attachments:

Ok a couple more issues have risen up. First, the design in the previous example gives the appearance of marshaling which is not allowed. Also, as the Pensance Pursuilvant pointed out to me, we can't put Or next to Argent. Here is another way of dividing the field with the colors you want that strikes the required visual contrast and eliminates the marshaling issue. Blazon: per pale argent and gules, a pale azure.Attachments:

It looks kinda like the Russian flag on its side and I have never been there, but I have been to Holland

Perhaps you misunderstood? You aren't allowed to "Marshall" your CoA. Have you had a chance to read the links we have provided you?

Sorry Dean, but I can't help adding a fact that I got to know just now - in Japan hospitals don't have no. 42 as it spells shi-ni meaning 'to die'.
