I just read somewhere that I have been entrusted with this project...
Btw, this seems to be an existing CoA... where did you get it from? Or did you design it yourself? If you have something in common with an existing CoA, then we can always design something similar... but not the same ...
Looking forward for your reply...

Azul
Happy New Year!
The COA was obtained from a research company over 20 yrs ago as the Rumreich coat of arms. I like the anchor symbol as I am an avid sailor and that it was one of the first Christian symbols.
I was considering "Wimbledon" Purple & Green colors rather than the red/yellow. For the following reasons: I play Tennis, Vernon ( translates as " green name") and purple is my favorite color.
Thank you for your assistance

'Purple' (purpure) as a colour is not allowed in Talossan emblazon though you may find certain contemporary arms using the same. Hence I would suggest you use a shade of blue (azure) which is similar to purple. However the red-yellow combination is a colour metal combination, but what you suggest is a colour-colour combination... I would request you to kindly read the rules regarding heraldic emblazons. A green-yellow combination would be allowed... However, if you really want purple, there is a way out When charges are presented in their proper (natural) colours, there's n restriction... hence I'd suggest that you may use certain flowers viz. thistle, bluebottle, lavender, lilac or even grapes which have a purple hue. So instead of the circles, you can have the flowers dotting the metal base... May I suggest an green(vert) base with a white(argent) anchor in top (chief) a white(argent) base with the flower/fruit of your choice. Whatsay? Please PM me when you reply... or else it might get lost in the posts, causing unnecessary delay... All the Best...

An exact replica of the coat as depicted by you would not be acceptable... I had given some ideas earlier ... so any that attracts your attention?
Although there is no restriction on using a similar base design, the visual impact of having a direct linkage should be avoided. There is no family coat of arms, and a grant to an armiger passes on to his direct male descendant. However, its quite common for others in the family to have a similar CoA.
Thus, despite your name similarities; your CoA needs to be atleast a little different from the image.
How about a green - gold base?
[Had sent you a PM quite a few days back. Did you read it? ]
