Actually, once the seats areyours, they're yours, even if you leave the party. You can choose to keep them or to give them back. Either way.

Also, since Flip has vacated, it falls to Cap'n Tim (as the head Benitian) to pick a new Senator for Benito.

I know, but I'm not going to keep the seats if the party doesnt want me to. Anyway, it was kinda a rush decision, and I still thinking about whether it was the right thing to do.

I'm really sad about Eovart and Flip leaving.

Well, I'm trying to keep up here with updates to the government Webpages for the Cosa and Senate.

• S:r Grischun's Cosa seats are vacated, giving the PPT a total of 31 vacant seats, vacated by three different MC's
  
• S:r Molinar's Senate seat is vacated, giving the Benitian premeir a Senatorial appointment, and making the Secretary of State overjoyed that the next election he will need to run three Senatorial elections instead of two.
  
• MC Van Die's seats are retained by him, but he is no longer noted on the Cosa Webpage as affiliated with the PPT.

Am I right so far here?

Not so fast....

To fill the vacancy, I have exercised my authority as provided by the Constitution of Benito and proclaimed the following:

I will fill the Senate seat vacated by S:reu Molinar.

On November 1, the province of Benito will hold a special election. If elected, I will remain seated, if not, I shall step down and allow the democratically elected Senator-elect to assume office.

Pursuant to the Constitutional requirement, I have resigned as Maestro.

This also means that I must resign my seats as an MC and ask that the PP redistribute them as they see fit.

S:reu Canun, the people of Benito will owe you a beer at the end of all of this.
